I am shocked and impressed that they have this man on here. I have realized that the virus for me is a blessing in disguise . I have def been doing a lot of things that I have procrastinated with including starting my YT channel back up again and learning how to trade. I do need to spend some time to look inward though. I need to read the Four Agreements again. That is a book that I should read every 6 months.

I want to first thank you so much for bringing Miguel Ruiz to this platform with a message so important for our people (African American people). It is important for the entire world, but in my view, it’s especially important for us.. I’ve been on my journey for a while and feel so much better emotionally thanks to Mr. Ruiz’ books and lectures. My hope is to be a role model for others as I continue working on myself. He is so correct, “change yourself and you will change the world”. Some time ago I had actually begun moving away from viewing Breakfast Club episodes as many seemed to dwell on negative issues/stories, etc. But after seeing Queen Afua and now Miguel Ruiz and a few others, I’m back and proudly sharing with others. I have so much appreciation for all of you on The Breakfast club!

i am actually working on a companion to his book as I feel there is a gap in HOW to integrate the agreements. Knowing them may resonate but stay cognitive and conceptual but Integrating them in your life is a whole other mastery. I think these books are an important step in decolonizing our minds from the forces of domestication and settler mentality. Don Miguel lays out a different dream than the prevailing framework which can be very harmful especially to people of color. Where the society teaches us to hustle, to produce, to constantly sacrifice in order to support the machine, this book emphasizes an enlightened way of relating to each other (impeccability) and to our ourselves (immunity from the judgments of society, etc.) Simple language but a practical and in some ways subversive book.
