We love shopping there. I'm same when shopping. I tell them, I'm the Commander & she's the Commander-In-Chief. When she ready to pay the cashier or waiter with card on our accounts, they smile when they hear me tell her "We Can Get Whatever You Need", or jokingly tell her "Sign My Life Away"😂

As far as I know things are okay and they opened again sometime after a one hour stand off with the guy.

News reported witnesses saw the suspect broke at least 20 bottles on the floor & against walls, then tried to set boxes on fire. At least one fire activated the sprinklers. The response team deployed flash bangs around 9:30pm, & about half hour later Pepper Spray. Store likely needed extensive clean up from broken bottles, fire & water, and residue & fumes from flashbangs and pepper spray.

Where do you guys buy your vegetables?

We usually go to Times on S King St but, we get vegetables here at Don Quijote too. On Sunday mornings there's a farmers market at President Thomas Jefferson Elementary School across from the Honolulu Zoo and one at Manoa Marketplace both have fresh vegetables. If you're still in Waikiki there's the Waikiki Market, Target at International Market Place and Food Pantry. In Makiki I would go to Safeway, Times, or Don Quijote, or Palama Market next to Don Quijote for Korean specific things. I hope that helps.
