Thank you for this great video, I really enjoyed watching. I love Don Quijote! So many interesting products! I don't remember seeing any raw meat products in the locations i visited, but glad to see they are selling more grocery items now! I remember I bought very nice pack of strawberries from one. And also I was finally able to find a hanko machine at one of their locations so I was able to get my own hanko!

Thank you for your comment! Don Quijote is indeed very popular. The Don Quijote stores with "MEGA" attached to their name sell fresh food items. The Shibuya location is a MEGA Don Quijote, so they have groceries in the basement. 🐧 When it comes to fruits, I'd definitely recommend supermarkets, but for convenience, Don Quijote is hard to beat. I'm glad you found a good hanko! Thanks for watching from the US!✨

Thank you so much for your comment! 💗 I didn't specify the location of this Don Quijote because it's not conveniently located for tourists, but it's the Kawasaki store. It's situated in a residential area, quite a distance from the station. This store is typical of those found in local or residential areas in Japan, known for their reasonable prices and a wide variety of daily necessities. If you consider the need to transfer trains or buses, you might find it more time and cost-efficient to visit a Don Quijote located in a tourist area. However, if you can include it in your sightseeing itinerary, it would be an ideal spot to check out. Do consider it! I'll keep posting videos of affordable and convenient places for you to visit. Stay tuned! 😊

I want to buy skincare and make up items in bulk. Which store do you recommend that offer sales or pretty convenient in Japan?
@EverydayShopping_inJapan

For skincare, if you're looking for high-quality, high-end Japanese brands, department stores are definitely the place to go. They generally have a wide selection of new products to choose from. If you're in the market for more affordable Japanese-made items, drugstores and Don Quijote, as featured in the video, offer good deals. If you're looking for a wide variety of cosmetics, Shibuya's Daiso has a large selection, though the number of Japanese-made products is limited.If you're seeking high-quality makeup tools, I previously recommended the Kumano brushes, which are a bit on the pricier side. For lower-priced options, Daiso offers products, but the quality is lower. For something a bit better, yet with less variety, drugstores, large supermarkets, and Don Quijote can be good choices. Your selection will ultimately depend on your budget and the quality you're looking for. Hope this helps, and happy shopping!

is the Reivi Goat & milk body shampoo a great product? which one would you recommend?
@EverydayShopping_inJapan

Thank you for your comment! The Reivi Goat & milk body shampoo is such a great product, isn't it? There are various scents, and I generally like all of them. However, since I apply body cream afterwards, I've been using the milk one. I've noticed they also have a product called "Premium Body Shampoo Rosehip" which has piqued my interest. Nonetheless, I'd recommend sticking with the classic milk version✨

@@EverydayShopping_inJapan I have my eyes on the original one which is the milk version I'm happy you recommend it more than the others, thank you! 🙋🏻‍♀️✨ I seldom see KZbinrs covers that section. Luckily, you did show it here now I have an idea what to buy when I travel internationally as we don't have it here in our country. I really wanted to try japanese products when it comes to body products. If you have other recommendations I hope you can do another youtube video. Thank you for your hard work. 🙇🏻‍♀️

@@sunnyxx5174 I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the recommendation! Just one point to note: the Leivy milk product is actually made by a manufacturer in Malaysia. So if you're specifically looking for Japanese body products, it might not fit the bill. However, the Leivy milk product has been adapted to suit the Japanese market, so I still think it's worth purchasing in Japan. Just in case, I've listed a few genuinely Japanese body products below that are great for daily use (and like Leivy milk, they offer good moisturization). I hope you have a wonderful trip! 😊✨ ■ Company: Rohto Pharmaceutical. Product: CareCera. Size: 300ml. Price: 1500 yen (approx. $9.9) ■ Company: Kao. Product: Biore U. Size: 480ml. Price: 500 yen (approx. $3.3) ■ Company: Max. Product: Moisturizing Fragrance-Free Body Soap. Size: 500ml. Price: 450 yen (approx. $3)

@@EverydayShopping_inJapan wow that's a huge help! Are these poroducts you've mentioned available at Don Don Donki? Or anywhere in Japan's shop? It's quite challenging to but Japanese brand from our country. But I'll take note of your recommendations if I have the opportunity to get a hand of these items. Thank you so much!

@@sunnyxx5174 I'm glad I could help! While the selection at Don Don Donki might vary slightly depending on the store, they likely carry products from Kao and Rohto Pharmaceutical. Even if you can't find them there, you should be able to find these brands at nearby drugstores, which are quite plentiful in Japan. 😊👍

I'm sorry I was at Mega Donki today and I feel it is totally over rated I had so looked forward to getting most of my gifts there but was left unimpressed. I'm hoping for lire luck at Daiso

That's unfortunate to hear. Which MEGA Donki store did you visit? The stores in tourist areas like Shibuya or Osaka carry different products than those in residential or non-tourist areas. Besides Daiso, there are also other 100 yen shops like Seria and Can Do. In Shibuya, both Daiso and Can Do are located near Don Quijote. I hope this information helps.

@@margaretgerhardus6247 I'm glad to hear your impressions of the Shibuya store. If you're looking for stationery and miscellaneous goods as souvenirs, LOFT and TOKYU HANDS offer a wide variety. While souvenirs from other tourist spots in Japan might not always be cheap, they often have unique items that you can't find anywhere else. You might already know this, but I hope it helps as a reference. Enjoy your trip and have a wonderful time😊✨
