Great coverage. Please do a follow up video when the plug at the mouth of the Don River is removed. Also, a video about the new transit line in the area would be very useful.

I remember back in the mid 60's driving past the Don river and it always stank so bad. 🤢

See the traffic? It's horrible down there. Already! It will get worse.

i dont see how you can grow cities in north america without more traffic. too many tradies. not much you can do about that. Plus people hate buses, like myself.

The city is still twiddling its thumbs on the streetcar connection to the portlands

A park for people, and yet there's still a major traffic jam with single-driver vehicles. Sigh...

When they "daylight ", all the other rivers and creeks that have been stupidly filled in, what do you bet the the flooding we have been experiencing stops.

Parks are great. How about some affordable housing?
@tcsnowdream99753 ай бұрын
That’s literally what they’re doing. They’re building the Portlands to have more housing. Hopefully with more affordable housing included.

What "mix of residential development" didn't YOU understand?
@UzumakiNaruto_3 ай бұрын
@@tcsnowdream9975 *Hopefully with more affordable housing included.* Well that sounds very reassuring! LOL. What I don't understand is why doesn't the government have a crown construction company who's purpose is to take on major public projects including housing so that they don't need to build for profit? Giving these projects over to private companies is why it takes so long and costs so much.

I think they want us to live in the parks

It's coming. With the condo market failing you just have wait for it.
@TML-pm8fz2 ай бұрын
Residential developments huh? In this economy with a glut of unsold Toronto condos on the market? And a real possibility of a large immigration reduction coming soon - even if people still want to come here?

The Don River needs to be cleaned up first !
@AndrewDhaliwal-iu1ws3 ай бұрын
Last time it was clean Canada was still 95% European.
