I had the privilege to see Don live in Hamilton, Ontario and this has to be the prettiest song he has ever written and performed. Keep up.

Don Ross is a class act all around. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a guitar clinic in Ottawa last weekend. Not only is he a master of the guitar, he's also pretty goddamn hilarious on stage. Hands down the best show I've ever seen and probably ever will.

I used to play in Panama with a guy named Don Ross... this is 'candle holding' category. What a great group of musicians are collected here. I just wish I could play, or could have ever played with such grace. Thanks. The muse is still smiling!

those harmonics tell a story in itself. beautiful song. Hats off to you Ross!

You know, this song has so much meaning. Not only is it beautiful, and the melody so peaceful, but the entire song is for someone completely dear to him. That person was his wife who is deceased. I'd like to see you do what he does!

Indeed.. Abd that's exactly what's gone missing in the music we hear on the radio every day.. Because if we would just listen to the song, and let it speak for itself, then we would be able to feel the true colours of the song. We'll feel it flowing to our hearts.. giving us rest.

All I have to go off of are Don's compositions, but theres so much love behind so many of his songs. Brooke has got to be very blessed to be with a man who has such a heart.

Most excellent. Reminds of someone near and dear to me. The song I mean. Imagine that. I'd comment on the guitar playing but when it get's to this level the guitar speaks for itself ---and for the fingers operating it. Some do have IT!!!! Thanks for this.

I just haven't had time to give it a try. The muse is always smiling when she hears stuff like this. Amazing how someone's fingers can bring tears to my eyes and at the same time make me so happy. Hope it's done as much for you as it has for me.

A very chilled composition from Don this time. Ha, i bet even if he accidentally sneezed when playing it would still sound wonderful. But this is beautiful, reminds me of drinking a cool pint of cider, during a sunset over the fields of the british countryside

The tune is in what's called "jazz waltz" rhythm , or 9/8 time where you feel the rhythm as 1 (2,3) 2 (2,3) 3 (2,3). The pulses are quick ones, so the 9 goes by quickly. It is a three, but subdivided into 3 groups of 3. If that makes any sense! DR

Narada more or less went out of business as the music industry went digital and the record companies downsized or closed shop altogether. Narada was bought in the 1990s by EMI, but they were based in Milwaukee since the days they were an indie label. The Milwaukee office got closed by EMI about three years ago. The label exist now only as an EMI imprint, but it lo longer has its own staff or offices. Sad, but it's the way of the future. -DR
