This is a PROPERLY built Wild!!! Don't you "loose" some of the benefit from the 690 POE of the I9 hubs due to the Bosch motor just having a lot of play on the cranks? I still prefer a BOSCH over any other motor out there. But IMO this is one of the slight cons of the bosch motor: the not-so-instant, perhaps sloppy cranks engagement.

There’s (almost) always some trade offs in everything you put on your bike. I think the performance and durability of the wheels all around is why I ride them. The engagement is an amazing feature/benefit regardless of what bike you’re on. I trust my I9’s, Cheers!

@donbenincasa7442 rad setup - can you let me know the measurement / part number for the angle set that you got? I've checked the blue paper, emailed Orbea, and tried a few headset manufacturers - nobody seems to have this info :/ Thanks again man!

Does the fox 38 contact the frame with the new angle headset? How did you get around that?
@ThePathBikeShopTustin Жыл бұрын
The 38 shouldn't contact the frame! It should have enough clearance to not do that.

@ThePathBikeShopTustin without the knock block headset it does contact the frame. That's why I was wondering how he got around this problem

Size of frame and offset of the fork can change the outcome. The frames do come with a small bumper on the frame if your setup can come in contact with the downtube. It always best practice to be careful and not let the fork run into the down tube, but in the event of a crash, the down tube is still protected regardless. @@KevinLDonahoe

what is the spring rate on that coil? I'm 5'11" 180 lbs and still seem to bottom out using 500 lbs MRP progressive coil on a 2021 Orbea Wild

I had a 500 lbs spring as well and I didn’t have much trouble I’m 190

The wild ltd is a better upgrade, it has xtr all round, carbon bars, wheels and cranks plus a rear spring. The team don't have that stock.
