This is so true I work at the airport. The average amount of people that goes through the airport is about 70,000. Black women will look at you but nine times out of 10 they won’t smile unless it a woman about 60 and up White women smile all day & greet me

I used to be like this. I was the sweetest girl ever but nobody would ever know that because I would constantly be in my thoughts & walk around with a frown. I used to hate when people told me to smile especially men but as I started to get closer to God and become more feminine I started smiling more. One time I was in the mall & a security guard told me to smile . I wasn’t smiling because my feet were hurting from walking all day but I put on the biggest smile and showed him and he smiled at me & I realized how cute he actually was but then I ran off😭😭 I try to smile at everyone now when I’m out even though I’m really shy. And as another side point to show you how the human mind can work just fine without punctuation there are languages in the world that have no punctuation points and they did quite well Hebrew. Thats why when black girls stare at me in the eyes now I feel a little defensive. I immediately get this "Wtf are you looking at?"feeling instead of a "shes attracted to me" feeling because the air around their image now is just mean and off putting towards black men, so I just avoid eye contact with them completely majority of the time. I only get that feeling with them, im not proud to say this, wish it wasnt like that.

Men don’t understand what it’s like to navigate the world as a young woman. When a man says something like “smile beautiful” to a young woman in public, if she responds by smiling 9/10 times the men take that as the door opener to further interaction. They will change course and start walking with her, asking her name, asking for her number, is she single? Now she’s in the position of having to get him to leave her alone and far too many react with anger when it ends up going that way instead of what they were hoping for. Men take eye contact and smiles as an invitation. Every single female reading this can relate. Happens all our lives until we get too old to want anymore.
