When visiting your host ensure that you come with your personal supplies E.g soap, cream, and towel. Bring your clothes with you and ask permission if you must wear theirs cuz not everyone likes to share. In cases where you have to share a room with them, please get Ear-pods while you scroll down your social media, and maintain a quiet activity. Pray silently, and take the phone calls away from them if they are asleep. Don't comb your wigs in the house and if you must maintain a particular spot tidy it as soon as you are done.

This reminds me of a friend who came to my house during COVID-19, she found me with other people there and she started looking down to the extent it was just her second day when she called out my name I was doing the cooking when she called Asif she had something important to tell only for her to tell me" sitoo... Do you know that my bank account is better most people here, you inclusive..." She told me that while seated in my chair, eating my food sleeping in my house, she never did any house work not even washing the bedsheets she slept in, and then one she went out and came back with a friend, she never wanted anyone in the house to use her charger, she would put on a woofer switch to capital radio and she wants it speak all the night, now that I look into all that she did even during the course of us being friends, I see that losing her was the best thing to do

I'm someone that visits but I prefer visiting and leaving that same day. On rare occasion I visit and stay for a long time for example I visit because maybe I have an exam or job interview. I don't visit for holidays sake because I enjoy my privacy as well 😅😅. I'm not saying it's wrong to visit for holidays sake but it's just not my thing 😊. Thanks Winnie for taking us through this leveling up journey ❤

What about a bad house host. I visit my sister once a year for just three days. Travel a long distance. She offered me nothing to eat. Cooked nothing but micromanaged the fridge. I had to ask for every little thing and was met with attitude and argument. I had a cheap tv dinner and a few snacks and according to her thats eating too much. I then became sick and all i could eat was yogurt and she gave me one tiny yogurt even though she had plenty. I was so sick that i could not go out to eat. I had to pay out my butt to order yogurt to the house. I am her brother! Then she is a neat freak but says things in a rude and disrespectful manner. Its not can you please pick that up. Its pick that up! She is not broke or poor or struggling and her fridge was packed. I traveled a long distance, this was my vacation and i was not treated like a family member. There are some people who are careless and abusive once you enter their home and put all the blame on the guest. There attitude is if you dont like it leave and she did that to me except that i had nowhere to go. I felt trapped and helpless.

I think how you dress as a visitor is also important especially when there is a person of a different gender in the house and/ kids. If you are used to wearing bum shorts at your house, maybe leave them at home when you visit a friend who has a boyfriend/ husband or even a same sex partner and kids. Don’t make people uncomfortable in their space

How about your host allows you the privilege and after sometime you come back from a trip and your host has someone else attending to it. You offered to help ceaselessly all to no avail or being ignored, are you meant to keep on pushing?
