Love the podcasts. I miss the core four episodes where there was sort of a topic but it was mostly just a fever dream though. The C4 turtles one killed me so when I saw Logan on this one I knew it was going to be great.

This podcast is one of the reasons that I love these guys! Always trying to put out the information and motivate the veteran community. I totally need to work more on me and stop focusing so much of my energy on taking care of everyone else. If I get to work and take care of me, I'll have way more to give to life. Thanks for the slap to the back of the head boys, I needed it.

I relate to the challenge of being interested in energy, nature, etc but being put off by the “overachiever” weirdos. I decided to do my own research and go with what I feel. Btw y’all are so intelligent and I love how you discuss topics.

Evan, I was blown away when you were talking about your experiences in Israel, living there and your travels in the country to the major religious sites relating to Jesus. Sounded like you had a great time there. Were you alone there or with friends ? Loved the podcast.

I think a lot of what Logan is describing is just a product of age and life experience, not necessarily a generational thing. I've lived all over the country and a good part of the world, been shot at by terrorists, lived in a hole in the desert for 6 weeks. I don't freak out when the electricity goes out or I get a flat tire. Most 19 year olds will.

The VA is a federal agency run like a business. They want to be a profitable business. It’s so frustrating. I have been seeking alternative type treatment, even something as simple as AlphaStim or massage therapy which is legal. Heck it took three years to get a therapist. But meds were easy and they get frustrated because I have horrible side effects which void the so called benefits so I refuse the meds. Fingers crossed things will improve one day. My dad just bought his own narcotics…good ol Vietnam vet. Omg and the lack of cultural competence and knowledge of conditions is atrocious and impacts care. Not to mention those that are awesome are pushed out because they don’t follow the VA construct. Getting any real testing is not going to happen because it’s evidence for a VA compensation claim.

It's the same here in Australia, Australian Army Combat Vet here plus I've also worked with US Military which quite a few I've stayed in contact with since I Discharged and we all complain about our issues with our Countries VA, couple of British and Canadian Vets have the same complaints. Maybe one day we'll get competent leadership for the people willing to put their lives and bodies on the line for their Country!
