1:53: "Even when you're not on stage and you're not doing something, you should be looking at your lines, running lines with another actor." In a book I read about the old 70s ABC police procedural The Streets of San Francisco, that's what Michael Douglas and Karl Malden (Douglas was Insp. Steve Keller, and Malden was Lt. Mike Stone) did during downtimes while waiting for setups. Douglas said of this, per the book, "On many an occasion while we were shooting an episode, during a break or between setups, Karl and I would rehearse our scenes from the next show." This preparation and practice, it is said, allowed producer John Wilder to make scripts that were 5 pages longer and had more content.

Oh that’s a great story. Thanks for sharing it! Yep it always helps to keep working at lines even when you have downtime.
