It is advised that you should not pursue law if you are financially weak... Problems law profession(except NLU) : 1. Kharcha nahin nikal paoge..even traveling ka kharcha bhi nhi niklta as a intern. 2. 5-6 sal dene ke bad Ghar wale yahi ummid karte Hain ki ladka aap koi job Karega... Yah court mein suit Boot pahan kar argue krega... But no 3. BCI(bar council of India) inhone rules to aise banaa rakhe hain jaise ki lawyers ko salary dete Ho. 4. Noble profession bol bolkar chutiya banaa Rakha hai, distance learning mod per law nhi kr skte.... 5. Colleges mein Keval theory sikhai jaati Hain, practical experience court mein jakar hi Lena padega, aur agar first generation lawyer Ho tab to aur mushkil. 6. Law karne ke bad koi earning To hoti nahin hai, aur upar se BCI walon ne yah rul banaa Rakha hai ki advocate ke licence ke bad koi dusra business/Job nahin kar sakte. Conclusion : don't pursue law if you are come from a lower middle class family.

You can consider University of Calcutta I'm persuing law in South Calcutta Law College which is affiliated to University of Calcutta and I have to pay only 85k max to max for 5yrs and if you got chance in the main campus of CU then you'll have to pay just 12k for 5 years NLUs are undoubtedly perfect but it's really costly
