The detail of a cooking off tank is really good, and armored transport cook off too. I have seen a couple explode like that, and was terrifying been close to one, beautiful, but terrifying. And the dolphiiins, very nice detail. The first time I saw them on the water I freaked out because I thought it was a shark (saw something moving in the water in the corner of the screen when I jumped in). Cute little things. It's cool to swim with them. Awesome work, Flakfire, as always.

You should take a look at the melee animations when someone lays on his back, when you melee from the front you give a headbutt, from the side you hold him down and slit his throat, from the back you break his neck. Also when the soldier is about to stand up you punch him on the nose and break his skull on the ground (nice)

The new tank animation is called an "ammo rack". This happens when the ammo in the tank detonates during the impact making the whole thing explode.

Technically, the term is an "ammo rack detonation". Ammunition is stored in racks and bins inside the vehicles, so "Ammo rack" is the shorthand for the phenomena.

the tanks cooking off never gets old, the AT rifle's terrain destruction is handy for knocking out other sniper positions (i've had a case where i bodyshot someone over 100m, did 70 damage and collapsed the roof they were on which caused them to take damage from debris and die soon after) and the combat roll is a new one i never heard about before so it'll be good to put that to practice

One thing I don't see a lot of, is use of the sniper decoys. One tactic I like, is to place a decoy, wait, and if no one shoots it, take it's place. I also drop one, the hide directly behind it, spotting for me team. It will block a bullet. What was a kill shot, just highlights the enemy sniper for counter sniper, or even artillery, answers. Having several in a row, and hiding among them, means enemies are less likely to notice. I've spent many a minute sitting perfectly still, between two decoys, while enemies run right past. I rarely ever deploy without them. They are also useful when working in teams. While my decoy gets shot, my partner counter snipes, removing the enemy sniper threat.

The piat wasn’t recocked from the recoil the operator would have to manual re cock the spring by standing on the stock and pushing the spring down that’s why it was put out of use in the later war due to it being difficult to reload in cover
@Flakfire5 жыл бұрын
This is wrong.
@thomasbarrett56585 жыл бұрын
Flakfire I don’t know how you thing a spring is going to recock itself if you’ve ever tried to push one down you’ll know how difficult it is and you can look it up yourself
@Flakfire5 жыл бұрын
Yes, the recoil recocks the spring it's one of the key reasons you could fire it standing or from the shoulder.
@thomasbarrett56585 жыл бұрын
Flakfire that isn’t part of the reload and from what I looked up to check the first time it’s cocked the user has to push the spring down
@Flakfire5 жыл бұрын
Yes, the first time it's cocked, they do. If soldiers knew enemy contact was likely, the device was cocked before heading into combat. This kept it ready to accept the projectile, thus it did not need to be cocked in the heat of battle. After firing the first round, the recoil from the launch pushed the spring back to recock it - it did not need to be manually cocked again. It's part of the reason the weapon was even practical. The spring also absorbed the shock of firing the weapon, making it easier to handle. Most AT weapons have some kind of counterforce, otherwise they'd be too unwieldy. In some cases those were "blank" charges (backblast) like the Davis gun - for the PIAT, the opposite force is applied by the spring.
