Okay so I had to pause at 19:26 because okay listen I'm a retired Felon who writes horror/thrillers. I feel like people don't understand that these kind of people & places actually exist. I'm from Cleveland and I have lived in an abandoned house that had electricity. I have dabbled in not one kind of crime but many much like most of my associates. When crime is the way you make money you'll dabble in any of it to get the cash you need, and the crazy thing is a lot of the time you don't improve you just do enough to make it to the next hit. So there are jack of all trade criminals out there and most of the time they are scum just like I used to be. So calling these guys unbelievable because they do it all ...well I guess people who have never walked in darkness can't see that monsters have no boundaries ( like what I did there with the seeing & darkness for a Don't Breathe review, I swear that's just how I ended that sentence naturally) any way those kinds of places & people really do exist.

@rascoehunter36083 жыл бұрын
It would be more terrifying without it because he has no worry about legal ramifications because of them trespassing. Going up against an enemy who doesn't hold back is more interesting than the forced sympathy for the characters.

@@rascoehunter3608 exactly. It was only terrifying for the perps. Not to mention; the whole dungeon in the basement wasn't even acknowledged, nor the kidnapped girl. The movie ends with him going to the hospital and the mention of the burglars. The kidnapping and assault was for the audience to say, FUCK THIS GUY! In the end you don't support either side, cause the "protagonists" are all burglars and the "antagonist" is a kidnapper and mild sexual assault perpetrator. I saw Don’t Breathe 2 and it isn’t as good as the first it’s somewhat meh, the intruders are generically evil. The first movie the buglers I gave a little bit of empathy to because of the girl who wanted the money to provide a better life for her and her sister away from their crappy mother, the other two burglars not so much. This movie doesn’t give you the question of morality, who to empathize with, or hell they were on to something in this movie choosing of the lesser evils but that is underdeveloped and not used properly.

Lmao, the jokes you guys have in this could be used for parody comedy called, Suspense Movie, with the old man as one of the main characters 😅🤣🤣.

To me the blind man wasn't even really a bad guy. It's the other characters fault for breaking into his house.

So you're ok with sexual assault and kidnapping people?
@waltzcentral65003 жыл бұрын
@@Revealingstorm. no, to me he is a evil guy. But, I didn't really like the protagonist of the first film. Because they were trying to do a crime. The only people I felt bad for was the women he assaulted.

@@waltzcentral6500 so he is not "really a bad guy" but an "evil guy". Ok, got it.

Would be great if phoenix/tera switch sides or was conflicted instead of having a psycho mom
