man the only problem with the blue s13 @8:44 is it isn't a 2JZ-GTE its a 2JZ-GE T (a N/A - T build) N/A 2Js wont put the big HP numbers down the blocks can't handle it. If what was said in the listing is true and it's pushing near 500 HP that block is at it limit much more and you will see failure.

The block is essentially the same. Just oil passages drilled out for the oil feeds to the turbos and oil squirters.

18k on that drift car is a great deal. The work is all done, you don’t have to fight catfish owners and pay $6k for a functioning T56, and the suspension work being done is MAJOR W

I would like to mention that a 2JZGE-T is meh compared to a 2JZGTE. Especially if they didn't build the NA-T correctly. You could always do a poor mans 2JZGTE by taking a nonvvti 2jz bottom end and a 2jz vvti head. But I do agree that the price of 1JZGTE's and 2JZGTE's is insane. They're around 5k on ebay right now before taxes and shipping.

Bay Area of California. Used 350z, salvage title, 200K milage, 6 speed in range of $4K-$7K. Mega mantis angle kit used/new $1800- $2400 or GKTECH angle kit $300. Rev9 coilovers (14 adjustable) $440 new. extra set of four 350z old rims, $250 - $500. Diff bushing, rear insert bushings, front sway bar; all for under 400 for new/used. if labor is DIY, its free. I build mine under $8000, all used parts except for bushings and coilover. Took almost 2 yrs and patience for all the used parts available on Facebook market.

I'm feeling like the better option for the new gen broke boys to get into the drift scene is gonna be any 86 platform car with a k-swap. The car and motor should be sufficiently cheap enough that you can afford to splash on the nicer new performance parts to create a more reliable and less headache prone drift car.

Wether you have emissions testing and how stringent the requirements are has NOTHING to do with how Based or How 'Free' your State city or area is. Its all about your air quality. The more polluted & toxic your local air is the more intense your emissions testing requirements. Atlanta, LA, NYC etc etc have some of the toughest , But just over 100 miles South, in Columbus, the 2nd Largest City in the entire state of GA where there's literally a million trees scrubbing the air & making Oxygen all year: Zero Emissions testing requirements. NONE. And the entire county property tax rolls wise has been held hostage since 85 by the old Slave money families Criminal Property Tax Freeze So They would love to set up testing stations all over town & collect all that certification bread they do up in Atlanta but they cant, Because the air (not to mention the water) is jus too clean. But should it for some unforseen reason get anywhere near as polluted & toxic as Atlanta's then emissions is on & popping like the Fart box on Netgierez's 240 ..
