For those of you wondering, I did let it sit for 20-25 minutes, don't let editing fool you, (watch until near the end for the orange one when I leave it set for even longer). Also, I put 2 scoops of 15ml. It was still sticky and gooey. Quite possible this one was defective and couldn't tell with the second one since I did half the amount to try and compensate for the gooey slime.

(THIS POST IS LONG BUT IMPORTANT) I know that this video was uploaded in October but I believe what happened to my daughter and myself should be noted. To begin, because you had issues with this product and some other reviewers did not, I thought that, maybe, the issues you had ‘could possibly’ be from a Canadian distributor. So, I decided to go out and buy 3 of these kits. To start, of the 2 we opened, the scents were not labeled at all. We were very happy that we did make slime like the promo video showed! Unfortunately, this is as far as the fun went... REALLY IMPORTANT PART, when we opened the “Unicorn Magic” the powder not only ‘poofed’ everywhere, my daughter wound up with parts of her face and lips burning(they eventually were all red and swollen)! Her throat and tongue was burning(I suppose from breathing near the area after it ‘poofed’) and she also had hives on her arm. Also, my eyes had a burning sensation and became quite red and even after I washed up, for 2 days, every time I touched near my eyes they still were burning. I’m trying to warn as many people as possible because I never imagined a slime kit could have such weird chemicals in it when it’s marketed to kids and I thought I would post here first because I know you would want to know if something could hurt your viewers (or their kids) so, I hope you do see this.

It's not that bad actually. I really think hers is defective. I've gotten both the small ones and the big unicorn one. The only time I've had issues with them is when I didn't add the second scoop of water. It isn't a slime though, more like a putty... not that dough thing though.

I believe that you are supposed to shake the first three steps (powder ,food and scent) together and leave it for Abt 1-2 minutes Once you get the slime you leave it in the container and take your spoon and your unicorn magic and mix it together in the cup. I would love for your to redo this salty reveiw as (from what I've seen) this toy is a great idea of a slime kit and has great reviews ik you are probably going to get a bad set here and there but the kit is adorable I would greatly appreciate it if you could redo this

It's weird that it turned out like crap for you. I've done it several times and each time it comes out great and still smells really good after a while. The only thing I will say is that the are fabricating the quantity that you get, you don't get that much but it's a decent amount, and the little slime holder that comes in the kit doesn't fit all the slime that the kit makes.

When I brought it (in UK) after you shake it it says to leave it sitting for 10 mins 2 cups of water will do it you just have to let it sit as I believe it's a PVA powder so it has to set basically. I personally loved it when I did it with my boy. However I will say I found the instructions all over the place. I've watched 3 vids where they didn't see the instruction on waiting 10 minutes so I think it's more they need to improve their instruction especially as its for children of a young age. If I'm honest I just want to collect the cups 🤣

I once got one a poopsie slime thing at my local grocery store on clearance for like two bucks. The result was the consistency of the orange. What I think happens is the kits can remain in warehouse/ on the shelf for who knows how long until they’re bought. And often by the time they are bought they end up being defective products. There’s something in poopsie brand that seems like it isn’t really preservable bc this is a common issue with many kits meanwhile others of the same thing can come out fine.

Oh gawd, I did this with my little sister and glitter freaking exploded everywhere when I opened it . It was the worst, it was everywhere. Our hands, faces, sink, and hair. It was the hardest thing to clean the glitter. FREAKING GLITTER!!! My sister was not exactly happy about it. It also took so long for the slime to become slime and it was just super goey and wet. Was not fun for the both of us!

Naomi Brokenshire Yeah, good on ya. This product seems to be pretty finicky from what I’ve seen. It works for some people, but others like Jackie have had issues with it too. Maybe the environment has something to do with it? It’s weird, but maybe there’s an agent in the slime that reacts negatively in certain kinds of environment (maybe the humidity? The room temperature?) Either way, if that’s the case, the product should still point it out.

I have tried this kit a few times before 1 time it was goopy so i added a baking soda. ( if too much baking sodas added it might become hard- water can help if to much baking soda is added.)

IMPORTANT NOTICE!: I got one of these toys and thought when I opened up my cup it was rubbish because it was gloop all you need to do when you find your gloop is to shake for about 20 seconds and let it sit for about 2 minutes then take it out the container and just stretch it around p.s it will still be mainly gloop... anyway, stretch it for about 1 minute then add your unicorn magic and it should start to come together. Your slime will still be a bit clumpy but then all you need to do is push the clumps down abit then stretch and pull and squeeze your slime after you have done that for a bit your slime should be quite a good slime please follow my advice so you dont get upset and throw our slime away when you can just make it better you welcome crafters😉
