Is it posible buy tickets for Topkapi Palace Museum only? If so, please let me know where to buy them. Thank you, Bery :)
@jj-if6it9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I can't believe how expensive some of the museums are now. For example, Topkapi palace is $72 for us, which is more than we would pay in Australia (which is an expensive country). It's more than you would pay in cities like London and New York even! I really think it will just put some tourists off going to those places, and they'll make less money. I'm just shocked that Turkiye would be so expensive especially when the lira is so bad at the moment. It's a shame...

How much is air in Turkey ? Ottoman empire destroyed itself because of stupidity, greediness, arrogance, corruption and barbarity of their leaders while their common people were pretty much like livestock for them good enough for war and killings or to be killed. Is todays Turkey on the same path ?
@ThomasAxel3 ай бұрын
When you are corrupt and steal for your own people while feeding him with propaganda you sometimes need to rob others with museums. Question is are you stupid enough to pay those 72 dollars just to go there ???

If you notice the pass that is 165 for outsiders is 60 for residents. Yes indeed its expensive i would say especially if you are going with a family.

Its a pity that Istanbul sites have become so expensive for travelers outside the EU and Usa (our currency like Turkiye is weak about 23 Rands to 1 Euro). I am doing my second visit to Istanbul and Turkiye in April and using your videos I do the free sites and spend my money on the delicious foods. Thank you Berry

Bro, it's expensive even for EU citizens, it's really tight everywhere at the moment. I was planning to visit the musuem and maidens tower, instead I will spend 2 days in Bursa and visit the free sites, which there are plenty in Istanbul. ❤ going in June. Also being a Muslim, I can visit Haga Sofia for free during prayer times, just the ground floor though

It seems to me that some attractions have become very expensive to visit ? For example, when I was in Turkey in autumn 2021, and at that time, visiting Hagia Sophia was still free.
@StarliteJem9 ай бұрын
Interesting info. Please have in mind, that those cards are only intersting and cheaper, if you plan to visit all those places. If you add the prices for the Istanbul places without the card , you'll reach about 140 Euros. The Muze Kart Istanbul would be a cheaper option here. But if you for instance want to skip Maidenstower or Topkapi Palace, it is cheaper to visit those places without the card.

Worth to mention that in order to visit the Harem at Topkapı you must visit the Palace in the same day. The Harem entry is inside the Palace garden and you cannot validate the pass twice only to visit the Harem. Bery - your videos are great and we've watched most of them. This one is equally well made. Teşekkürler. However its so disappointing that the Turkish government has decided to ripoff international tourists to compensate for the Dictator's total screw up of the Turkish economy over the past two decades. But given how corrupt the Turkish leader and his government are, it comes as no suprise. Places of interest that previously were free to get into or walk around are now charging exorbitant entrance fees as you have shown. And the Museum passes are viturally useless - who has time in '3 full days', '5 full days', '15 full days' to see everything they want to see. (I would suggest 'Full' is not the best word to use here!) As for the 'cost of greed' crisis gripping the world and Turkiye, all I can say is I feel very sorry for the average Turk who is struggling just to pay the rent and buy the basics.
@RyanandSaz-TravelLife3 ай бұрын
Are the prices you list the amount you would pay without the pass?

Yeah, so don’t even bother it is not worth it. Also 15 days only for the turkey pass is insane. You’d have to spend 1 day in every location to make it worth the cost.

Estaría completamente agradecido si me puedes orientar… Saludos desde CDMX! ❤
