It's advantage is to have high-speed connection but it's disadvantage is to be slow AT THE SAME TIME HA? And imagine this vid got more than 10k views pfff... I want to order for a wifi boaster(repeater) online. Those ones they usually plug on a socket. I want to use it to boaster weak signal on my mifi. What I like to know is: must they plug the mini mifi repeater in a socket before they can use it and must their be electric charge (current) on the socket or you can used it in a non power socket(i.e a socket without current flowing on it)

A hotspot is just a 3g/4g/5g radio which decrypts a 4g or 5g signal and re-encrypts it into the 2.4GHz or 5.GHz wifi band. It's just the radio from your phone with a cheap encryptor and decryptor. Also when companies use Mbps they mean MBps (megabytes) because Mbp is mebibytes.

Glocalme USED to be a decent way to have wireless when the power went out, but NOW the prices are outrageous. They used to have a United States 12GB good for 365 days for around $80. NOW it's gone and the closest you can get is 12GB for 30 days at $80. That's HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! There is NO pay as you go left. You MUST buy a package and at minimum it's either a DAY or MONTH package period. Do NOT by Glocalme unless you can get a SIM card from your carrier for a decent $ for GB price.

I was sold a Mobile Hotspot that the LEDs (other than the charging LED) do not function. In fact, the charging LED only flashes blue, never solid blue indicating a full charge. Also, I have to continually reset the device to make it work. Is this normal? I'm going to post this question on every social media and review site I can find in hope someone can answer my questions. Alcatel, who makes the device asked that I work with the vendor, in this case Keepgo. So, since I've been struggling with this problem for 2 weeks, I'm hoping someone out there can fully answer the problem. Anyway, off to the next social media or review site.

So guys I'm old. Bear with me. Is there a portable wifi device that I can buy for my house and hook a security camera to? If I buy a portable wifi device, is there always going to be a monthly charge to use the wifi for my security camera?
@obye2 жыл бұрын
If you get a prepaid or monthly mobile data plan, buy a mobile hotspot and put the sim card with the plan into the device. it works like a router and uses the mobile data for the internet. So you can connect your security camera to the internet connection the device creates.
@obye2 жыл бұрын
The only charge you will have is for the actual data itself. not the device. If you buy a sim card with 10 gigs of data for 10 a month you will pay paying 10 a month

Dakota, hear me out don’t use mobile wifi hotspot cause they will overheat and are not meant to be on for a long time , I had optimum wifi before for my house cameras and the issues was when it rained the WiFi wouldn’t work and the cameras will lose connection after years of dealing with that I got tired and went with Verizon and let me tell you the internet is fast and VERY RELIABLE , I don’t live in the best town so I need cameras on 24/7 but haven’t had an issue with Verizon but it’s a little pricey but I can’t put a price on peace of mind I hope that helps you make a better decision

Is a portable wifi hotspot good for gaming on a pc?
@rightsfeed51807 ай бұрын
There are no sources of civilian wireless data other than: 1) Satelite (Syarlink, HughesNet) 2) Cellular providers (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, or their MVNOs) 3) A fixed wireless router at a home or business (Starbucks, Hotels, etc) Any device whose source isn't #1 or #2 is a wireless repeater, not a hotspot. All current & reliable hotspot devices can be found on the websites of #2 above. Please learn your technology & terminology before posting videos that offer these kinds of solutions.
