In this video I let you know if Wanted By Night from the house of Azzaro is still worth buying in 2023!
Since its release, Wanted By Night from Azzaro has been massively hyped and popular throughout the fragrance community.
The brand says;
Azzaro launches Wanted by Night in the spring of 2018 as a sensual, evening edition of the original Wanted created by Fabrice Pellegrin in 2016. The new perfume is inspired by the hedonistic lifestyle of Loris Azzaro during the 1970s.
"Azzaro Wanted by Night is the fragrance of a modern-day seducer. An extraordinary man. Elegant, bold, mysterious, he is surrounded by an air of confidence and power. Azzaro Wanted by Night is announced as an explosive woody and spicy oriental of unabashed sensuality, a "blend of temptation and masculinity." The composition mixes exotic woods and spices, and highlights the three main accords: cinnamon, red cedar and tobacco.
The face of the advertising campaign is model Nikolaï Danielsen. The cylindrical Azzaro Wanted bottle is transformed with chrome-plated cap with an elegant dark smoky lacquer, to contrast the amber fragrance within.
Wanted by Night by Azzaro is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Wanted by Night was launched in 2018. Wanted by Night was created by Quentin Bisch and Michel Girard. Top notes are Cinnamon, Mandarin Orange, Lavender and Lemon; middle notes are Fruity Notes, Incense, Red Cedar and Cumin; base notes are Tobacco, Vanilla, Cedar, Leather, Benzoin, Iso E Super, Cypress and Patchouli.

It's a 10 out of 10. For those in the know before this was ever hyped it used to be 34 at discounters for a 100ml. I have, over the years, given at least six or seven bottles as gifts. Every single person has loved it.

@gerardgeorge I own 3 backup bottles, 2 are 100ml and 1 is a 150ml. I'm sure the 100ml bottles will be given as gifts at some point, but that 150ml is my personal backup because I never want to run out of this.

I remember when it used to be 53 for a 100 ml on fragrantica now it goes for 86 cause all the hype people brought on it 😢 this is why people should gatekeep instead of telling the whole world about it

@999triple4 I hear you, but at the same time, I'm glad people know about it and the price increases has more to do with the discontinuation than the hype. The bigger problem was that people didn't buy it at retail, and if they had, it would still be around for cheap.

I got my bottle in 2019/2020 150ml and i love it it's a 12 out of 10 from me. Fantastic in the fall/winter, Lasts 10+ hrs. if you see it buy it you will not regret it. It get's even better with age. People always ask me what I'm wearing.

Wanted by Night was the first “full price” semi expensive bottle I ever bought. Had a few Hugo’s but WBN, back in 2018 was $85 Canadian. LOVE this frag! Almost impossible to top imo. Such a gorgeous fall/winter scent that gets mad compliments

Actually smelled: Most Wanted EDP Intense & Most Wanted Parfum the other day & was just blown away how much I like both of them after scoffing at them. Azzaro can pop out some high level Fire 🔥 sometimes. Most Wanted by Night is awesome as well.

Bought 2 bottles of this stuff on fragnet on clearance for dirt cheap. Granted, they were 15 ml travel bottles, but they are slick, have azzaro embossed on the bottle, and name on the cap. I wear so many other winter time designers like BDC parfum, sauvage elixir, sauvage edp, armani code absolu, versace oud noir, Creed royal oud etc, that i forget about this one. I am wearing this one tomorrow.

This one is a serious hitter. 100 percent worth it. I'd pick this one up over a ton of other frags. The price point is on point too. Honestly, the only frag I'd climb over this one to get is Valentino uomo intense.

It is my favorite of the line but also, one of my favorites period. When I bought mine it was like 2 weeks before Covid. Then no one could go out and if they did we were all masked up so I had to just stare at the bottle for what felt like forever until I could wear it out haha.

Ulta puts things on clearance when they're ditching it, so I got this one for dirt cheap earlier this year when it was pricy at discounters due to demand. The first thing I get from it is tobacco and incense, and then citrus and cinnamon right after -- I agree that the Wanted DNA in there. When the citrus pulls back it's strong cinnamon with fruits and cumin, and it's really awesome in fall or winter weather. It's way less sweet than The Most Wanted line, which I agree is gourmand and closer to SWY. For me, Wanted By Night is a little more refined and perfect for casual functions, where The Most Wanted frags are better for date night type situations. And yeah, Wanted By Night is my favorite in the line, and I like them all -- even the Tonic which gets so much hate because of its awful performance.

This fragrance was to many a doorway to collecting fragrances. I remember when I bought this fragrance back in 2019 for $35. This was one of my first few fragrances that got me into collecting fragrances. I have a backup sealed bottle in case this ever gets discontinued.

I am an outlier in the fragrance community when it comes to wanted by night. I really hate it and find the fragrance to be very cheap smelling. I hated it so much I threw it in the garbage. It’s a strange phenomenon because I know this gets a ton of love.

I had a pretty big bottle of this and I sold it for $40. All are nice in this line, but alas, I still like the Most Wanted over this one or Wanted Parfum. With that said, this one and Parfum perform better. I still prefer to put ambroxan on first, then Most Wanted on top. All are awesome tho :)

I just got this from fragrancebuy and I swore I smelled it being more spicy at the store, but on my skin it's just very fruity. It smells nice but it just smells sweet and fruity to me and no cinnamon. I need to test this out more but so far, I'm enjoying The Most Wanted Parfum much more for winter, EDP is nice too but too sweet for me. I want to try wanted by night in a summer night because I think it'll be perfect

It shines in the bitter cold weather, but in higher temps the cumin note starts to pop out and not in a nice way. It can give off a BO vibe. It’s discontinued so maybe we’ll see a parfum release soon?

Love the scent profile but I hate that I can’t get good performance out of this, maybe I become nose blind?On top of that, my bottle is leaking like you wouldn’t believe and I have no idea why. I seem to be alone in thinking none of this line are great 😂 Wanted by Night is definitely the best in my opinion, and I dont like Most Wanted at all, nor does my girlfriend. I dont own any of them, but ive smelled them all multiple times in Ulta and they just never piqued my interest in a way that even remotely matched the hype they all got. I got Diesel Bad for really cheap a while ago and its close enough to the original and does it better imo. Wanted by Night is nice with the cinnamon and if it was still $34 online, I'd consider buying it. But not for current prices.

I dont find this to be sweet at all. Also, it doesnt get me compliments, I think ive received just one since I got it a year ago. I dont love it, only keeping it because theres nothing else in my collection like it and I understand its been discontinued. Also, im hoping that I will eventually fall in love with it at some point. I hope to try the other flankers but I already have SWY Intensley so I might not need them
