Автор видео рассчитывала на тех, для кого рукоделие - радость приносить , а я имела в виду использование сшитой своими руками подарочной сумочки В ОДНОЙ СЕМЬЕ. Например, когда я сшила подарочную упаковку для новогодних (именно новогодних!) подарков, мои мальчики (теперь они дяденьки, у которых самих по трое детей) знали: если под ёлкой стоит знакомая сумочка - там подарок! И никаких носков, куда ничего не входит))). А если человек не оценил рукотворный подарок и возвращает его создателю - думаю, он может оценить только бумажный пакетик, желательно по размеру денежной купюры (да и тот кому-нибудь передарит). Обычно рукотворные подарки дарят тем, кто их ценит. Желаю Вам смотреть на мир с позитивной позиции. С Рождеством Христовым! Мира Вам и добра!

Gorgeous! This fabric is so beautiful, I'd make a smaller one for an evening bag (just add a closure). I think I'd make a bit sturdier handle on the gift bag. Perhaps layer with the gold one, for extra strength.

Good demo. I don't see why you'd make a "reversible gift bag" for a one-time gift. I'd do muslin on the inside and save my good fabric for another gift bag. Granted, two-sided may take up less room storage-wise but, at the price of fabric these days, it doesn't make sense to have reversible gift bags, particularly since you'll be gifting one time to a single recipient. The only one change I'd make to the video is pressing the bottom seam of the bags. This will allow the sewist to better see to align perfectly the seams for the boxed corners. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Well done!
