They need to make air filters... inside both side plates are air ducts that are blocked off by Losi. I think they have done testing and found dirt and dust will reduce the life of the electrical components,which last longer if cooling is added.

Im going to get the smoth tires & cut sipe slits in them for running on compacted clay. Just an idea come out with a mini pen tire like for the cars ,that would probably work great on compacted dirt / clay surfaces. Eventually get all the up grades.

Dont buy this until you already own a fast truck. Super baja rey sledge Xrt or bassicly anything before this little toy. These Trucks come unglued and its awesome. 50+mph all day. 70 if you are lucky. 100+ xo-1 and will teach ya quick. Arrma vendetta 70mph for $199, theres a few left at that price if uou search. Drifting and speed runs are fun too, but get a good fast car ir truck first. Typhon is a good start. It all puts a smile on uour face and makes you laugh. All RC is fun.

I like the tires upgrade the best I don't understand. why they don't just make it with all of the up grades.I have one and you will need just about every upgrade to keep it running Especially if you're running on gravel .drit you might get away with only a couple of up grades..You will also need pads on knees and arms mybe a chest pad . But for the price it's not bad I think it can be the best rc ever made easy to handle
