Its worst bike not only in this segment and also in all other segments. Better go for any other bike instead of buying it and getting regret . Lot many issues in engine and poor making. It will not run perfectly from service to service also. Every month I personally spend 2-3 days around the showroom for repairs. Not only me lot many people are facing the issues with bike I know it because visit showroom regularly and i interacted with lot many owners . 80% and above people are not at all satisfied with this bike.Instead of riding the bike people will come to showroom by pushing it. I really dont understand how these people giving positive reviews about the bike. I completed 40k kms(Dont have resale also so still holding it) . My suggestion is don't go for it. If you don't want peace no one can stop you. Expect pickup there is nothing in this bike. I can assure you guys its an worst bike.

I have Jawa 42 2.1 purchased last year in July. I have clocked 9k in ODO and so far I haven't faced any issues in my bike. I'm getting mileage of 35 in city, no engine issues, no ground clearance issue, heating is there in bumper to bumper traffic.

I have been using Jawa 42 since 2020. I had lot of issues with it. I agree with the video content. When I ride my bike never felt confident and comfortable on this. But I enjoyed riding Jawa on highways. Except that never felt good for my bike. 5 times clutch wire changed, two times timing chain, mufflers rusted, shock absorbers rusted, fuel leakage, self start problem, engine off while running, horn problem, battery issues, puncture repair is most challenging job. What not bike mei jithna part hai sare parts mei problems hai 80%. Such worst quality. No reliability, no trust. In a single word “Exhausted”.

I have a Jawa classic 2020 model. There were few issues which i ahve rectifie. But the performance and handling and smoothness is 100% better than Bullet and other bikes. The new version recently launched has rectified most of the issues and it is a very good bike now. The issues you mentioned are mostly rectifiable!

1. ye bike highway/city ride k liye h not for off-roading plus gadde me aaram se nikalo full speed me nahi. 2. seat quality is not good, better to get seat replaced. 3. fuse issue not seen in 42 2.1 4. Ye bike mileage k liye nahi h mileage chahiye to splender lo bhaiya 5. heating is there due to radiator fan 6. Not heard of timing chain issue from anyone. Got this one in 2020 and i love it. Didnt had issues with fuse, engine and clearance but i ride single. Agree with low quality of seating and mileage. It heats up compared to other bikes but the liquid cooling is there to cool it off. There is plenty of power and the bike is very easy to handle and flick through the traffic. Not a perfect bike but its so much fun to ride and looks awesome.

1. Ground clearance - minor rear shock mod will fix and/or remove the center stand.. 2. Seat, mod according to your liking. Most folks will do this anyway. 3. No heating issues after 1st 1K Kms. Everything else seems to be either the way you ride or how you take care of your bike.. Overall highly biased..

@Nishant Pardeshi Yahi ki bike classic pasand ki h... na ki koi japanese technology engine.. its raw naked huge engine! scooty hi better lgegi city traffic me but doesn't mean scooty is better than this bike.. i wud jst say wear full pants or jeans, with that i never felt it! anyways u should also make sure of it for ur own safety! mujhe initially lgi thi heat hoti h but with all service done to be very frank i dont feel that heat now.. never comes in my notice.. problem bs ek h lower gears pe it doesnt feel smooth and hectic on gear shifting between 1st and secnd.. rest all is awesome!

@@ajsjvlogs Yes the bike has height issue ,with BS6 model i do not think it has that much issue ,i am also having the JAWA till 10K no issue so far ,it's good to have it with extra warranty in case of major issue you can get the parts changed with no cost, yes with BS4 there are lots of issue i agreed as i met many owners during the visit of servicing

Bro jo bhi vlog karte ho , it is not worth.heating issue common hai sab bike me hoti even Harley , Ducati etc., mileage wo aap pe depend hai, timing belt kharab ho jana surprising hai. Aur brother mechanical things hai. No one can guarantee, even MotoGP race me bhi bike sometimes start nai hoti time pe, chalte chalte aag bhi lagti hai.. bahut saari cheeze hai.. it's ur opinion.. still 40 k mai run kar chuka bs4 model .offroading bhi kiya, but handling , speed , average highway pe 36. If anyone is looking for mileage please go for TVS Starcity or Hero Splender or a 100cc normal bike. I mean how can even people expect for higher mileage from a 250cc plus engine. How much Honda Activa gives mileage hardly 30-42km depending on traffic and riding style. This is altogether a different segment and more than mileage people buy it for looks, road presence, nostalgic feelings, style and looking different from the crowd. Every bike and car have it's pros and cos. Select that comes in your budget and make you feel comfortable, don't go by what others have to say and out of your budget and then keep on cribbing. :)

Pehle 02 issue to hain per baaki issues badha chada kar bataye gaye hain. Mere pas bhi 42 hai bs4.esa koi issue face nahi hua hai. Ground cleance ka issue bhi solve ho gaya hai. Jawa permanent problem cannot be solved - 2. Paint issue 3. Engine over heat 4. Engine shut down while downshifting 5. In long ride engine doesn't take self start 6 after some long ride engine become rough 7. Engine loose performance after some rides 8. No sliper clutch which cost more then 2 lakh Other brand provide sliper clutch in less then a 2 lakh They r just looting us .....

मेरे पास भी jawa 42 2.1 है एक साल हो गया और 7500 km हो गए। जो प्रोब्लम आई वो सॉफ्टवेयर अपडेट कराते ही ठीक हो गई । शुरू में इंजन बहुत हीट होता था दूसरी सर्विस के बाद नॉर्मल हो गया । माइलेज सिटी में 25 और हाईवे पर 38 निकाली है मेने। लेकिन इसका मजा ये है ही जम के भागती है । खूब गढ्ढों में कुदायी, खूब ऊंचाई पर चढ़ाई 100 -100 किलो के दो बंदों ने लगातार 114 km, 80 से 100 के बीच दौड़ाई , खेत में कीचड़ में चलाई , 350 - 400 km एक दिन में खेंच दी पर मजाल है jawa दाब मान जाए बल्कि हर ride पर नई जैसा परफॉर्मेंस देती है । भाई जेब और शरीर दोनो भारी चाहिए jawa के लिए । वर्ना कमजोर शरीर वालों की पीठ भी दर्द करेगी और जेब भी ।

Maine purchase kiya hai is bike ko..1 year ho gaya hai and gives mileage of 35-40 Km/L. Na heating issue hai and 100 ki speed pe feel bhi nai hota hai. Servicing ke baad, this becomes more smooth. I have taken one of the best choice by taking this bike. In love with it.

But the bike is not made for long off roading trips! It is for city commute. Riding for very long isn't right for it. The fuse issue is sorted. Didn't face these problems when I rode it. Garam jalane jitni nahi hoti hai. It's just warm air from the radiator which is warm and not hot.

I have taken the test ride of jawa 42 and thunderbird on same day.. my observation -Sitting position is good in both bike. Jawa 42 is like sports comfort and 350x more towards cruise comfort.

Bro there is many bikes with low ground clearance like meteor 350 avengers but they have good suspensions and engine too bt in case of jawa i m facing too many issues in bike

You will be surprised to know that this model is powered by a powerful engine and absolutely providing a very good mileage and good ground clearance too. Jawa motorcycle 42 is the best motorcycle, It is even better than royal enfield. Royal enfield has not made any major refinement or improvement in its motorcycles.

Jawa 42 is main failure reason is Engine and Gearbox doesn't match speed and unable to ride in city between 0 to 70 km speed just because of Gear box Design and sprocket gear ratio mismatch 😢😢😢😢😂😂

Don’t buy Jawa poor quality of spare parts… Poor quality of parts … I am going to change the timing chain at 10300 Km … on top of that they are selling spare parts at very expensive prices. Don’t go for Jawa go with RE or add some more money and go with Benelli. Worst decision i have ever made in my life.
