Bhai sahi kaha almost all flagship phones will survive if they fall straight on front or back but if it falls on angle there will be a dent on almost any phone. I was using pixel 8 pro at a fort and it slipped of my hand and fell at an angle damaging it's back glass and dent on body

water resistance is only for flagship devices . like my galaxy note 9 was (pani dubo dubo k use kiya . ganda hone k baad basin mein jake dhoya kuch nhi hua) while my friends motorola (ip67 claimed) got damaged just by using it while raining i used my new s22U same time when he was using that phone and my phone is completely fine.

I don't know how but currently I have Vivo V25 Pro and it doesn't have any IP rating or certification but I used the phone under rain and heavy dust storm and it still works absolutely fine but the freaky part is my brother owns iPhone 13 which has IP certification and once he bet on his water resistance and throws his phone inside water bucket and the dies immediately , I literally don't know how that even possible because apple claims IP68 water resistance?????

Thanks to cashify and moto edge 30 ultra with 8+ gen 1. me in sab processor marketing se pareshan ho gya aur decission liya k ek 8 series ka phone lo aur 5 saal chutti. So maine bht saare phones dekhe lekin ek v 8 gen ka phone nhi mila with curved display aur jo meri requirements thi. fir maine 2nd hand market ko switch Kara jo mujhe bilkul pasand nhi fir v Kara tab moto edge 30 ultra superb condition 25k m mila cashify k through. Bas ek cheez missing thi 125w charger lekin I have 33w jo sufficient hai lekin phone 1no hai.

My S24 ultra which comes with all d IP ratings and is a FLAGSHIP got water in the charging port after which it wouldn't charge despite drying it using all home techniques for a week...used the wireless charging but that wasn't a fair replacement coz of heating n slow charging...went to the official service center and they said have to change port and water damage does not come under warranty...They claimed it to be fine even when dropped inside a swimming pool but here a flagship like this couldn't even bear water sprays

I still remember those days around 2014-2017 when recommending phone was very easy. Phone companies used to launch limited & legit upgraded phones, Processors were easily distinguishable as only SD was main player, 4 series for budget, 6 series was for midrange( I had moto g5s plus with SD625) & 8 series for flagships.... But now recommending or even researching to recommend a phone has become hectic.... Companies ne apne products se kachra kr diya hai, frequent launches, jst rebranding old gen phone, jst one two gimmicks reintroduced & new phone launched.... In this aspect, I have respect for IPhone since they are launching only 4 phones at once a year. Tho I'm a android fan😅

I have a S23 Ultra and An A32 5G. Both are IP68 amd IP67 rated, but my A32 5G got water damage after I took it out of my pocket for 2-3 minutes in the Rain since I didn't want to risk getting the S23 Ultra wet. And I was actually right. The A32 despite having IP67 meaning it should withstand heavy rainfall and being submerged into water got water damaged by light rainfall, the display turns on but doesn't respond to touch anymore so the panel must be changed now

No phone is ever truly water resistant. My S21 FE got drenched multiple times in the rain back in 2022, but last week I noticed the plastic back case was peeling off (probably due to overheating). The same issue has been happening with my moms A33 5G. How are these phones water resistant now?? did they mention while selling that the backcover will peel off in 2 years? what if i never opened my phone case? I'd never have noticed.
