i was torn between the non IRH version of this and a TLR VIR II(have one a pistol and love it) with the new VWS Diffuser for an Extar EP9 and took the gamble on the Defense Distributors edition, i suppose i got lucky because front most portion of the rail on my EP9 fit it perfectly, and i mean perfectly, it's very snug and only took just the right feeling amount of pressure to lock it on, no wobble whatsoever, others might not be as lucky however and they DEFINITELY NEED to ditch the QD, i honestly think this would be a far better choice than the VIR II if they would ditch the QD

Eh, I switched from the LS321 to the GL4 Pro. Effective range is still just 100 yards, Holosun because of the underpowered emitter, and RovyVon because it autogates my tube. I own this the GL4 Pro and a VIR2 plus other more expensive and less expensive IR lasers, Illumination devices. I also have Villian intensifiers on both VIR2 and the GL4 Pro. I disagree with point # 1. It locks up to both of my P320s, Both my PDP and PDP pro, both my Magpul rail on my 16" and my BCM 10.5" AR and my AKs Rail. I have heard people say it was loose on their stuff, which does show there is gear out there out of spec.. which can be solved with freaking tape to shim the space needed so the clamp is tight.. we did it in the military all the freaking time. There is no such thing as too tight with this style clamp system. I disagree and agree with #2 its for a freaking pistol...PISTOL...PPPISSSTOOOL, Not Rifle, Not Carbine, Maybe PCC or CQB Shotgun and diffidently sidearm Pistol. That being said, I got the intensifier on so it doesnt autogate my NODS when I just want a threat lit up 40 yards and under. If you need more IR illumination then what this is putting out, you need to stop buying that NNVT cheap Chicom tubes and invest in some L3 or Elbit... IDK... maybe upgrade to omni 4 - Omni 7 at least... LOL Give me a break.

I know this isnt related, but this question has been bugging me for a while. In a major crisis, in which the united states government bo longer functions, what are the other countries doing? What would stop a country from just walking right in and taking over? It wouldnt be difficult to convince the locals, if they have been without power/water the country could easily provide such. Im not totally sure how to type out my thoughts on this, but its something along those lines.
@ChucksSEADnDEAD2 ай бұрын
There's no big switch they flip in Washington DC and the entire country shuts down. There would be contingency plans at several levels of goverment, from the state to municipal. Obviously the whole situation would suck but there would still be police, national guard, and people who know how to restore the water service. An American would have a head start on seizing power over a foreign state, and even without re-supply the standing forces would still have enough firepower to cripple an invading army therefore jeopardizing the invader's own sovereignty.
@Enjoyer.7622 ай бұрын
That is a far-fetched scenario. The real situation that is occurring is a slow slide into Kakistocracy due to our "woke" liberal government and their religious-like quest for hyper-egalitarianism and propping up certain foreign interests at the expense of Americans and meritocracy. That and the government continuing to crackdown against constitutional rights.
