I have the Rhinoceronte, it was my second tier 10 ever, and I enjoy it a hell of a lot. Not because it's super good or awesome, but the gun sounds amazing, it look weird and it is quirky. I'm a big fan of underdog tanks, so when they perform well, or can manage to make them perform, it feels so much better.

The tier nine is very enjoyable, if your going to play the rinoceronte doing so in recon mode with the bigger & better maps helps that overall vehicle experience a lot while we wait for the buff.

Why would there be a buff? Idk if you get this but there always has to be a few at the bottom of the barrel. Good players enjoy the challenge, if every tier for tier was balanced the game would be boring the variety of good, bad, mediocre, and ugly is what drives players to be better and step out of there comfort zone. Being a Rino owner I can say it was not built for the current T10 meta but that doesn’t stop me from playing it. The great few games I have are all the more sweeter in a bitter sweet tank.

@@bootylicious3081 the issue is that this tank is far below the barrel of other tanks, it needs a buff to even be bottom of this barrel, cause this is piercing through the bottom and sinking into the ground below.

I actually have more fun playing many of my tier 9 tanks than their tier 10 counterparts. With tier 10 you lose a lot of credits unless you have a really good game, plus the tanks cost a billion credits. Some tier 10 tanks I've really regretted buying. Panzer VII for example.

Tier 9 is overall the best and most enjoyable tier. Tier 7 and 6 come at a close 2nd and 3rd place.

The Rinoceronte is my favorite tier 10 tank... It sucks, i can feel his weaknesses everywhere, but I am still doing good in it, spending my bounds for its equipment and even using it a lot in ranked. It just works for me x)

3 shots with 490 are painfull, ghetting penetrated with those rounds hurts. its not a bad tank, its rather powerfull. the true underdog of matchmaking tier X are probably Type 5, T110E5 and Pz VII

Urhh too late I researched the whole branch in a month when it came out, first time I ever did this for a new tech tree.. Rino was such a let down, I came back to the tier 9 with the buffed up crew I built during that research-marathon (even put Chuck as the commander, but even him couldn't make the Rino good, but he's right at home in the C50 MOD. 66 ! what a beast at tier 9)

Rinocorente had 50 km/hr speed with 17 ho / ton and 3 sec intra clip reload and better traverse speed in the super test ......may be putting that stats back bring it to meta

Hey qb, I’m a veteran player on the console and have unlocked some nice tr 10s but I was just letting you know that there still is a wtauf e100 with a four shot jag tiger gun or a 3 shot gun with 750 alpha damage, what I’m suggesting is potentially when you get back from Belarus you could do a tank review

I like the rino a lot, even though your dpm is terrible, the gun rarely lets you down and in combination with the awesome apcr rounds, it is a joy to play. You have decent armor, decent speed and very good gun deppresion. Combine that with good single shot alpha and brutal clip potential and you have a super fun tank to play.

The Rino has the most horrendous dispersion values ever which makes this gun extremely unreliable, and its armor is useless against premium rounds which now seem to be the standard round to be shot in tier X. It's clip potential ain't really that good considering that you need 8 seconds to unload it. Do you play not on EU by happenstance?

@@robinkhn2547 FIY i do play on the EU and i havent got any issues with the gun, it has fast aim time and really really good accuracy for a heavy. I have 0.27 with my setup. My average hit rate is almost 83%, which is the highest value on any tank i own. And to be perfectly honest, 8s for 1470 is not even bad, considering how high the alpha is. With the gun depression and aim time you dont need to be exposed for a long time to realiably hit things, so armor against gold is not an issue for me personally.

Hey QB, i got the Tier8 Proghetto and do pretty well in it or better Most time, depending on MM. I got a Replay with 8 Kills on Save Haven where one can see what a Italian Autoreloader is capable to do if it is Toptier. It was my first Radley Walters Medal. I like these Tanks.

Beat you to it. Sold the Carro 88 after finishing the grind, never bought the next tank. I don't know why everyone thinks you have to run every line to tier ten. Based on your reviews, I'm working towards the Tortoise, but I'm gonna leave the Badger alone. I'm working towards the T95, but I'll never buy the T110E3. The T29 is a great tank, but I can't recommend playing anything that follows it. I've given that advice, I wish someone had given it to me. So many tier 10 tanks are just not worth it.

I found grinding the tier VIII to suck much more than the Prog 66. The Prog 66 uses the Prog 54's top gun, and it works pretty well even against some tier X tanks. So imo you can enjoy yourself with the Prog 66 right from the beginning.

I was hoping you would make a vid on this topic. IE When to stop at a certain tier As with the turtle at tier 9 ( note I actually stepped down to it after your excellent post some time ago ) My point is I'm hoping you will continue this process and give us all your thoughts on where the sweet spot is in all the tech trees. I played/grinded the T8 and the T9. and I had 1 massive problem with them. The ridicules long reload for a shell to return in the magazine. (even for the 1st shell fired) The amount of time i have been just out gunned by mediums and other heavies in close quarters is just to often. and yes firing more shells will get you killed faster in those situation. the mechanic does not feel like a bonus to begin with. A problem I did not had with the Medium tanks. or at least it did not feel that way. These heavies were not my favorite and I do not recommend to grind for these tanks in the first place. The mediums played a lot better.

I’m mixed about the Rinoceronte, I like the idea and play style of the tank, but I feel there are better tanks for the job. The Progetto 66 I feel though should be the tier ten. I just prefer the Progetto more and is more flexible in my opinion.

To be fair mate you don't need a blogger to tell you that Rhino is garbage of the highest caliber. Think for yourself, of course it's garbage, dpm is one of the worst in the game, alpha strike isn't something to write home about, no armor, mobility is just ok, but the cooldowns are a joke, a damn FV183 has similar cd to Rhino's first shell, what a joke of a vechicle.

QB, the Rinoceronte is my third best tank in terms of experience per battle at 971 and a 66.67% win rate. I like the Progetto C50 mod. 66 but I'm only getting a 48.84% win rate in that. I absolutely love the Tier 10 tank, but I like your opinions as well.

The problem is the Rinoceronte should be the Tier 9 and the Progetto 66 the Tier X. There's no difference in dpm, which hurts because it should have like 500 extra dpm. The turret is absolute paper. Anything with 310+mm of pen (which is basically all the HEATS at tier X except for the AMX30) and the vast majority of APCRS will go through the turret like nothing. It's a huge XP pinhata.

Honestly for me the whole line just is stressful to play. The shell dispersion is trash, and the same speed as horrendous even with a good crew and perks and equipment, the accuracy is bad, the stock version of each tank is the most frustrating crap I've had to play in that game since the Obj 430u tier 8 and 9. I'm at the tier 9 in this line and I think its trash. I'll never understand why every damn tank needs a 120/122mm gun. Its like WG wants each country to either mimic Russian tanks or come close to it.

I played the whole line, it can be very bothersome, but they are great tanks. The Rhino isn[t very good, but it can be fun. Honestly, I hated the dispersion and gun handling on the new Czech heavies than on the Italian heavies.

the 9 is good since the turret is at least decent and doesn't get penned by heavies/mediums while hull down, the dispersion is subpar but you're allowed to aim relatively safely while hull down, and its very mobile so bullying equal/lower tier mediums is very ideal

rino is one of the most difficult to tame. because of penetrating capability, lack of DPM, it's kinda slow for its armor. HOWEVER, pretty good standard shell velocity, decent gun handling(it's auto re-loader, I am saying!), 10 degrees gun depression, versatility of improved auto reloader. overall, when you get used to this tank, this tank is one of the most versatile tank. its not like solid heavy tank, more like, medium.

Got +60% WR on this tank. Doesn't even feel that good, but I manage to perform very good with this tank. Looking at the Rino stats I have no intentions to upgrade as a semi F2P player.

i was unlucky/lucky enough to be up against two platoons at once that, one of them had the an entire platoon of Progetto 66's and the other a full platoon of Rinoceronte while i was in my Badger which has a 6.5 second reload with my loadout and crew with 5 perks on all, and i killed the entire Rinoceronte platoon, but the Progetto 66's completely ROFLstomped me...

I havent bought the Rinoceronte yet but I loved playing through the tier 9. It had everything. Nice alpha, shell velocity, gun handling, gun depression, not the biggest of tanks. It felt so flexible and now im kinda scared making the jump to tier 10...well anyways my suggestion for the Rino would be dropping the alpha down to like 460 or maybe even 440 but give it better gun handling and mostly dpm. The reload stat looks awful!

what? The Bourrasque is tier for tier much more stronger. The Bourrasque is basically a light tank size- and speed wise. And don't forget that this tank has dispersion values like a wheelie. Yes, the Vz 55 is strong but not nearly as op as the Bourrasque.

Still think the rhinoceronte is better. That 490 alpha is very brutal compared to a measly 400 alpha. I can see the dpm is equal between the two but the fully aimed accuracy is significantly better on the rhino

Yes dont spend credits on Rinoceronte because you can buy premium tier 8 bisonte. Its a lie that you cant get a good crew in free to play especially when you have events where it gives you good crew members.

yeah I would like that too. It's annoying that most TDs just take away like one third or half your hitpoints with one shot.

while i do pretty well with it i still gotta say it sucks. the one moment i realised that eventhough most games are 3k plus dmg it still sucks was when i tried to sidescrape it and i got penetrated in the side at an 170 degree angle. i was stunned for a moment tripple checked that it really just happened and then gave up on it. funny enough after that i gave 50b another chance and it was a lot more fun than rino....that should tell you all

Great players seem to universally dislike the Rino. It is weak, but as an average player I enjoy playing it very much. I find it just nice to play, maybe the expectations of an average player mean that it's not difficult to have good games relative to your averages. I also enjoy it more than the tier 9.

Played rhino in ranks last season. Not that bad. But you have to be with other tanks supporting. And you can punish mistakes, if your clip is full. But then the reload is long. Left alone, this tanks is bad as the reload is way too long. This is what kills this tank imo. They need to buff the reload quite a bit.

In my opinion Rinoceronte it's a good tank, tier to tier maybe even better than Progetto 66, it works for me better than Vz 55.

QuickyBaby I played a lot in my progetto 66 and I have the renocharonte now and itt is great but when I played my prog 66 they pend the front of my turret in hull down with normal shell the prog 66 is worse than the rino
