They are Lithium Energy Japan cells model LEV60F. These cells are overstock and were originally intended for luxury vehicle 12v lifepo4 starter batteries.

You will need M8 x 1.25 nuts for the cells. If you want to add balance leads to the small threaded insert you can use M3 x 0.50 short bolts maybe 1/4" long would be ideal. Nuts and bolts are not included but they are very common. You can find them at most hardware stores, eBay, and Amazon.
Dimensions of the cells are approximately 2.16" x 6.73" x 4.53"
All cells are resting around 3.0v for safe shipping.
When assembling prismatic cells it is always important to use some insulating material between the cells especially for high vibration applications. Barley paper is fine or thin plastic sheets work too. When metal cased batteries are side by side the only thing protecting against a short is the thin green shrink wrap. You want something a little thicker between the cells. Also, especially when using at higher amp rates, it's important to have compression on the cells. Wrapping the whole pack with heavy duty tape can work in some cases but vinyl straps or even building a sturdy case around the pack would be ideal. This is to prevent cells from swelling. Cylindrical cells don't require compression but prismatic cells do.
The nickel coating has some tiny specs from where the welding rings were applied. Of course these cells were never welded into packs and you can just use the threaded posts to make your connections.

Good information. Can you do a follow up after a few cycles to show if ah/kwh increases?

I started at 52v last night, those batteries died this morning at 44v. Capacity was 1.9kwh. Those batteries are power cell. They are made for Car. Not for deep recycling. People that are selling them are not saying that.

All of mine have been around 69Ah, just like the BMW battery is rated that these were made for.

I paired them: 74ah + 74ah= 148ha x 48V =7104wh. Dexter, they are power density, they are not made for household or energy density. 1500 cycles life time. To me, they are worth $10

YOUR CLAIMS / TESTING ARE INVALID!!! 1. You started the test with the battery not fully charged... (the cells are only ~3.4v) 2. If the cells are not balanced when fully charged then you cant do a test and make false claims... (You need to top balance the cells for maybe a week or more until current stops flowing between them. Large LifePO4 cells can take a very long time to balance.) If you don't have a DC current clamp meter you should really get one. (~$25) *** Take each cell and charge them individually to 100% 3.65v After all cells are fully charged, connect all of them in parallel for at least a few days or more until there is 0 amps flowing between all of the batteries using a DC current clamp meter ***

These particular cells have a max voltage of 3.5 volts. Per the manufacturer.
