I’m in a pretty solid career but I’m ready for the exit. My life is pretty much dictated by things and people outside of my control while in this field. So, I decided I don’t really want to pivot out of this career into tech just to be under someone else’s thumb. So I started using the skills I’ve acquired on this learning to code journey to build something for myself. So far it’s challenging. But it’s exciting at the same time. So far, It’s a slow start because I work so much. But, as I get more efficient and more capable to offer different services, I know this thing will pick up. I’m learning, people out with small businesses need the help…a lil tech skills, a bit of fundamentals in design and good communication skills gets opportunities out here. And….Ive realized, knowing a bit about marketing and sales is a must. Thank you Joe for bringing this to our awareness and long time ago 🙏🏾

I'm a Cinematographer whose now learning Front End Dev and UI Design at my own slow pace. I'm also enrolled to start my masters next week in Digital Media & Comms so I'm focusing all my efforts for the next year on becoming a professional communicator who can design and create low fidelity prototypes in order to communicate with future dev teams. Not exactly an entrepreneur but I'm slowly changing my career in the hopes of working in tech or adjacent.

Do you want skills where you could surely make guaranteed GREAT income? Do you want to work for yourself or work for a company? Do you also want to have time/days off so that you could travel and do other things you like? Well, get a CDL and drive a truck!! You'll get there! And you won't have to worry about competition, bad economy, getting laid off; your job being sent to somebody in India or overseas somewhere; you won't have to worry about A.I. or any of that. This was what I did and never looked back and it's not a "bullshit job" lol 🤣. I'm sorry, I just had to write this. I couldn't help it! lol 🤣. I tried IT, but I enjoy trucking. It's nice, I make good income, I get to go to a lot of cool places, I don't work that much and I do a lot of overseas travel on my time off too. It's a great alternative!

Good luck with that if you enjoy driving then drive 🚗? One of the first jobs getting automated is driving that takes no skills or education to do just have 1 arm and atleast one leg. Now my question to you is what does this comment have to do with the video? Lol this is like dudes that come in here talking about if you do hvac or plumbing... guess what we don't wanna be driving 12 hours a day or cleaning people a toilet.. if u enjoy that continue doing it
