Don't Cry (Cover) - Guns n Roses - RUMPUS - Family Band / Kids Band / Rock Band

The RUMPUS band is a kids family rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! We've all been playing the main picking and chords for this song since we learned guitar and now we've brought it together as a cover of this classic song by Guns n Roses from 1991. Great song with heaps of feel and a bit of Slash!
We are brothers and sisters from Auckland in New Zealand. We like to learn and perform new songs together and play modern music and classic rock songs. We also write our own original songs too. We like to play live if we can - but also enjoying sharing our music online.
We practice up in our rumpus room so we called our band ‘RUMPUS’ which we think is quite fitting!
We like to learn the new songs and polish them up as much as we can before we decide they’re ready to video and share. It’s gives us something to aim for and it’s also good to have for the future.
Ashley on drums and Hannah on the bass are twins and 11 years old. Matthew on guitar is 13 and Daniel on guitar and lead vocals is 14. Thanks for watching!

Not an audioguy here, but how do you evaluate the recording? :) I guess, multitrack recording and separate mics does a lot...? It sounds good anyway. BTW - whats the poster on the wall behind the ladies?

@@ralorpa I'm just an old man who's always enjoy music. What sets these video's apart, to me it how distinct the voices and instruments are. There are times when you can hear the "scratch" of the pick across the strings, and the distinct sound of the bass strings, not just bass notes. When I'm listening to the vocals, of course I hear the lead parts, but the backing vocals, although lower volume, as very clear. So many other channels, just don't seem to be as well done as these people. The camera focuses on the correct person for either the vocals or the main instrument playing at that point in time. All little things that make these young people a pleasure to watch. Just an old man opinion here, not a pro by any means :)

They will go far. Actually I miss their own songs and not just covers which they do brilliantly. I wouldn’t be surprised if we could see them on huge gatherings as rock concerts. The Warning a Mexican band went vital playing Metallicas song and they are getting ready to conquer the world in 2024 which they deserve. This band is even more dynamic than the Warning was to cover that song. One of the girls, the bass player is already could play in famous bands and the drummer? It’s the sky is the limit for her after she got a real size drum set. The two brothers guitar playing needs just a bit refine and nobody could stop this band.
