I'll tell you why entrepreneurship is looked down upon in this land: It's because of our weather/climate. It's always (year-round) dirty, hot, humid, unpleasant, irritating, to go out. As such, if you tell your parents or well-wishers that you want to venture into anything that requires you to go out, talk to people, engage in deals, build rapports --- all of which in this unpleasant climate --- you're bound to be looked down upon*. Logically so. So if we want this to be changed, let's first respect nature, grow trees, develop and practice civic sense, prioritize being clean & tidy... As a result, people's minds will be calmer and more accepting of our ideas of business.
