obviously, there's a lot of hype about the mcelboys, and well deserved it is, but i cannot state emphatically enough how delightful jess and lily are in this series. it could have been very easy for someone coming in to get lost or outshone by the mcelroy family unit, but jess and lily are just as integral to both the humor and the heart of the story. i hadn't seen either of them in anything before, but this series made me dive into the collegehumor archives looking specifically for their work, and let me tell you, it was well worth it.

Especially as I think he'd only run it on Dimension 20 if he knows the people well and is confident in what they'll be like. Besides, look at the industry most if not all of them are involved in. I feel like the best things about the Dimension 20 campaigns are they all are short spiffy jaunts into interesting worlds. That gives it more variety than most groups. The length also plays into that as well .Critical Role is fantastic but it is so much more of a time commitment to watch Critical Role than Dimension 20.
