We're currently here 11 nights up until 28 Dec, we've never had so much cloud, cooler and rainy weather. So we apologise for this and its goes back to normal over new years when we return to the UK.

Just came back from a three day trip! It was my first time ever going to Clearwater Beach. The beach is kept very clean and the gulf was amazing as usual. I do think the beach is overcrowded with umbrellas and chairs that are for rent. I normally vacation down in Sarasota area. Can’t say it is the most beautiful or my favorite beach. I also did not like having to pay to park. Way too crowded for my taste. Our trip was free so I did still have fun, but I don’t think I would pay to stay on Clearwater Beach for a week vacation. It seemed very small and extremely overcrowded.

During the summer months the water is like bath water....to give you an idea, today's (6/1) water temp is 85 degrees!

@@liliduran5987 the water varies depending on the weather. If we're having storms it can be less than ideal but on sunny days (most days!) it's beautiful clear blue everywhere in the area.
