nice video , doing the same engine in a few days. I will say you should really lock the flywheel when you have it TDC, there is a hole to put a pin in near the gearbox. Also never ever turn a engine counter clockwise, can cause major damage.

now that's a realistic DIY headgasket replacement video :D ...liked and subscribed cuz I got the same shitbox on my channel that might need a gasket replacement. Hope my video won't be so amusing like this one, than again, I'm not a mechanic... we'll see how it goes...👀

I didn't. I think the car has hydraulic lifters so there is not much you can do.

Where did you get the tightening order and torque specs ? That is a M40 am I correct ? Cause I would like to know where to find that kind of stuff.

Hey. This has M43 engine. Could be same specs. The info came with the head gasket, and I checked it from autodata also.
