DON'T DRINK the DUMP POINT WATER! IT'S DISGUSTING | Camping at Beautiful Horseshoe Beach - Ep 81

On this weeks episode we decided to take some R & R after working over the Christmas and New Year period so we set up camp on at HORSESHOE BEACH a free camp right on the banks of the Murray River just outside of Cobram in Victoria where we take a well earned break and have a chance encounter with a very friendly KOALA.
After a week of relaxing by the beautiful Murray we move on to Benalla, famous for its beautiful rose gardens and of course Ned Kelly. We set up camp at the Showgrounds and use it as our base to explore the area. We visit the grave of an infamous Bushranger killed at the Glenrowan Siege, we get some new tyres for the mighty Colorado and I discover something VERY DISGUSTING at the Benalla Airport.
So go and get yourself a cold drink and come and us for the adventure.

That was a very interesting episode. All that part of Victoria is very historic and has absolutely beautiful towns and fascinating history too. Just that Ned Kelly is the most famous of that history. That rocket slide was good to see. When I was a kid we had them all over the place. One thing I wanted to mention but forgot on a previous episode was about the Beechworth Bakery, it is known by many as the best pies and sausage rolls in Victoria and possibly Australia (mind you that is subjective).

Hi guys I have to say this is our favourite channel. It’s the only channel we watch together. We go for a walk and then ready for the 7am coffee and watching on a Saturday morning. We retired this week and start our travels next week. Not full time yet (as we have family commitments) but a couple of weeks away then home for a couple of weeks. For clarity, both those taps will be considered non drinking water taps as they are supplied from downstream of the high hazard back flow device and neither should be used for a drinking water supply.
