With respect to Oblak and his situation, the one "washed" is Atletico Madrid for not selling him for a handsome price back when he was in his prime. He's older and not the peak version of himself, but if he signed in the Prem he'd be better than every goalkeeper in the league other than maybe Ederson and Alisson.

@@rohithraman6488well I agree to some degree that Dyches Burnley was better, but that Kompany side had better players than Luton, Sheffield of even Nottingham… I would said that Kompanys stubborn behaviour in playing dominate football was simply bad… It can be effective in Championship, but not in PL… I did not seen him do more different things and get needed results just to stay up… he sacrificed PL to his own style… Edwards with Luton showed more tactical approach than him… Im not saying that Kompany is bad coach, but come on… him managing Bayern?!?

@@pavolkrajcovic745 Let's be real, When you look at the likes of Zidane, he might have been a legendary player but when he took charge of RM, yes it worked out in the end but I'm sure people were sceptical when he took over. We don't know what Zidane's reputation as a manager would be now if his first job was Getafe or Rayo Vallecano. Similarly we don't know what De Zerbi's reputation now would be if his first job was Juventus

@@rohithraman6488 Zidane had strong connection with Madrid. He was firstly the manager of Real Madrid Castilla (basically their B team). He knew Real Madrid through and through… Brought players like Isco to A team and everybody respected him… It is similar to what Guardiola did… Kompany did not went through the lower ranks… Basically he was given the job because of his name. He started at Anderlecht and they dismissed him pretty fast, at Burnley he show some courage with dominant football, but at the end in PL he came short… I like idea of young coach, but I would rather understand if Bayer chose someone from their ranks (B-team), than Kompany…

I like Kompany but they would be better off with someone they promoted you are right. As a Chelsea fan I've just seen rumours (apparently) that Jose is now our number 1 favourite. Now I would rather bring him back, or have Amorim, than bring in McKenna or Maresca

Total Trophy count alone doesn't make a club bigger its about quality off Trophy as well which is why both Chelsea and Man City are bigger. I would make Jesus our back up RW and sell him the following season. I dont know why Arteta rarely played him on the right when that was his spot with Pep. We need a backup/starting striker with a different profile than Havertz....Ivan Toney If the rumors are true of Partey leaving, we need a starting midfielder. We also need a backup for Rice with Elneny gone. I think Smith Rowe can backup Odegaard, but he needs playing time to stay in form. Arteta never drops Odegaard, so it might be a waste of money buying his backup. Striker (bench) Center mid (starter) Defensive mid (bench)
