Hi Jens! I saw the lesson description on your website, one of the bullet points is : "Chord Melody arrangement of 3 Jazz Songs" I didn't see what was the 3 songs title included... Could you please give this information to me?

Hi, I emailed you a week ago to purchase this chord melody, but I haven't heard back from you. Can you please let me know how to go about purchasing the chord melody? Thanks!

Words cannot express my envy on your talent Mr Larsen. I have a question if I may. How do the pick ups or hollow-body affect tone? In other words, to what do you owe this melting tone? Thank you for this video. Great work. -Ege
@JensLarsen8 жыл бұрын
+seagull179 Thanks man! Pickups are a huge part of the tone, they add the initial compression and shapes the input from the strings. I suspect that pickups are more important than wood when it comes to the tone of the guitar, but I am no expert. For the rest my tone is carefully sculpted both in choice of guitar and pickups and the whole signal chain within the AxeFx (which is also a huge part of it)

Did you notate this with tablature or standard notation? I figure it would be pretty difficult to read something like that in standard notation.
@JensLarsen9 жыл бұрын
Haha Actually I wouldn't be able to read it in tabs, I am only given real sheet music when I work. The arrangement is written in both tabs and standard notation though.

I have a question ( may be stupid), but is there an advantage in learning traditional sheet music than tablature?
@wellfedstarvingartist3 жыл бұрын
Tabs tell you what fret to play. Notation tells you the note, rhythm, and how to play the note in context to the music.
