The most creepiest thing happening while trying to sleep? I was laying in bed but couldn’t sleep….so I grab my phone…the light of the display strays my bedroom window (ground level)…suddenly I see two yellow, devilish eyes right outside the window….turns out it was my cat which wanted to get inside…but it scared the hell out of me for a moment 😂

Creepiest thing I have experienced while I was sleeping was when I was very young but I remember it vividly. I woke up in the middle of the night to see a little girl standing by the door in my bedroom who vas very unfamiliar, I blinked only for the girl to move from the door to standing inches from my bed side. She was eyeless and had a scar across her throat. She reached out to touch me and I blinked again then she was standing on the ceiling smiling at me before she disappeared.Strangest thing is I was never scared I actually felt comforted as if she was watching over me as I slept. Only lasted maybe 30 seconds before I fell back asleep and I never saw her again.

The creepiest thing I've ever experienced while trying to sleep will always be my near crippling fear of sleeping. I have a phobia of sleep that used to get bad enough I WOULD try to stay awake as long as I could, only to pass out in class. That being said, enough caffeine and lack of sleep you SEE things like shadows moving, creepy kids sitting in the corner only during snowy days of winter and someone curled up in the middle of the soccer field moving closer each time you look back.
@lisakarson3279
@lisakarson3279 3 жыл бұрын
I am 37 now and I never knew that was a legitimate phobia but now that you mention it I think I have that and had that for years growing up in a straight up haunted 🏠. My childhood home was built right on top of Indian burial grounds so it always had something going on in a paranormal way. I would stay awake with a lamp on for hours and hours absolutely exhausted doing anything I could to not fall asleep bc I saw something or felt an evil presence near me. What can you do? You live there. I couldn't sleep outside tho I have slept on a big swing in my backyard many nights but that's about it. My room was upstairs. I used to get to the 1st stair and stare up them for hours at a time at night in pure fear because I knew the entity was waiting for me at the top and in my room. Countess nights my mom had found me and would walk me up there bc I couldn't go alone! I miss her so bad. She died in 2017. So glad u commented that. That made my night friend! :) Thanks for reading all of this btw🤣

I have the opposite problem to sleep paralysis. Everyone in my family sleepwalked into their teens or 20s. I've largely grown out of it, but I still move a LOT in my sleep. I used to get up and leave the house, though. Woke up once by stepping on a nail. I was barefoot and in my pajamas, two miles from home in the total dark. A decently deep and fast-moving creek was about 20 yards away. Not sure if this counts, but it sure screwed up my ability to sleep for a while.

@kevintemple245

Not that bad usually. More a matter of leverage. Unlike walking, you're also fully using all of your torso muscles with your arms. About the same once you get used to it.
@edi9892
@edi9892 3 жыл бұрын
The main problem is to find paths that are fully accessible to wheelchairs. I've hiked on a trail, where part of it was frequented by wheelchair users, but not far from it it would have been utterly inaccessible for anyone other than a fit adult. I had to be careful of not tripping and I got a huge dislike for crawling under trees that fell on the path. I've once been in a storm where it ripped off a huge branch and later I tried to move that branch but failed despite being fit and close to 7 ft tall. The last thing I want to do is crawl under a tree, bang against it and make it slide on top of me in the middle of nowhere...

Backstory on my creepiest thing. The year was 1994. I was sitting in a car with my boyfriend around midnight and I told him I felt something *huge* was about to happen. I couldn’t put my finger on what, but I felt it in my gut. A few hours later, I was laying in bed, trying to get some sleep, still bothered by my premonition, just after 4:30 am, I was jolted upwards, violently. The Northridge Earthquake was underway. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was only 6 miles away from the epicenter. I ended up moving in with my boyfriend in Redondo Beach, the aftershocks grew to be too much for me. My life absolutely changed after that night, and I have been on a completely different path, since. But it was so creepy because I felt it coming, and could do nothing to stop it.

The scariest thing that's ever happened to me was hearing someone breathing in my ear while I was trying to sleep while I was alone in my bedroom, and when I look, nothing is there. I would then suffer from sleep paralysis no matter what position I'm lying in, and hear the sound of flies buzzing loudly in my ears, and see the blurry, shadowed image of a feral woman with messy hair and long hair bending over me, sometimes over the side of the bed. Other times, she would be at the foot of my bed, and begin crawling towards me, like what you would see in a horror movie. She would crawl so fast that I would feel her claws piercing my pyjama bottoms until she was right in my face, before she opens her mouth to scream at me. I can never see her face, but I can feel her breath, and hear her scream.

When I listen to these stories. They sound unbelievable to be honest. I mean since my childhood I have never witnessed or encountered supernatural presences. I heard stories of them and it's absolutely frightening. But I never saw them. Well I don't want to either because if I do I might die of a heart-attack by seeing them. But our world is full of mystery. But we can only base it on factual knowledge and logic rather than paranormal phenomenons or anything that surpasses the natural laws of logic and physics of the natural world. Yes I believe in God. So maybe there are such of an existence of these magnificent beings. The only problem for that is that we can never ever prove their existence. No matter how hard we try. If we explain it to the natural world we would just end up in a rubber padded room in an asylum. The supernatural is incredibly fascinating though.

I almost never get sleep paralysis but one time I slept on the floor of an apartment living room for 3 nights and I had it every night. The last was the worst because my husband had been sleeping on the sofa, and I saw him sit up and go to the bathroom while I was paralyzed. I tried to call him for help but I couldn’t. I even heard him come back to the sofa without responding to me at all, but when I asked him the next day if he’d heard any little noise from me, he said he never got up that night. When I switched to sleeping on a different side of the living room, the sleep paralysis stopped. I had it only once after that in a bed in a room where closet hangers would sway by themselves. It stopped after we left that apartment.

I find obnoxiously singing to myself a great way to stay awake but maybe that's just the old choir nerd in me lol. As for creepy stuff that's happened while I was trying to sleep, well, some pretty good sleep paralysis episodes for one thing. One particular one I woke up frozen and this tall dark shape was slowly leaning over me. I couldn't move, couldn't scream, but somehow managed to force myself to say "what IS THAT?!" so loudly that it startled my husband awake haha. Needless to say he was pretty confused what I was yelling about at 2am. One time I was pet sitting and snoozing on the couch someone tried the front doorknob. Scared me shitless. Heard something in the backyard too so I called the cops-- whoever or whatever it was was gone when they showed up but the side gate was wide open. Needless to say once the owners got back I took a break from pet sitting for a while haha.

The creepiest thing I experienced while asleep (or rather TRYING to sleep) was when I heard someone walk into the room. I sleep with the pillow over my head to block out all light and some noise. Well I peaked out and saw a woman she looked like she was from a different Era. She looked angry but my sleep brain thought it was my mom. I closed my eyes again and before I could go to sleep I felt someone throw my legs into the wall. I startled fully awake but there was no one in the room. The door was closed and thats when I realized I never heard the door open or close I just heard foot steps. There was no one in my room. When I asked my mom about it she said she hadn't come into my room at all that day..... that house was haunted af. I also regularly felt someone sit on the end of my bed, saw my hair lift up when I was doing my makeup, saw someone tug on my pants, watched a pitch black shadow move across my wall, and had someone play with my hair. So many stories to tell lol

When camping sometimes you can't fall asleep not with kids, I mean it's either getting them something or taking them to the camp restrooms and so on, or making sure they don't sneak out and again so on.

I've actually experienced the sensation of being held down by some sort of invisible force while I was sleeping, twice before. Rather than being scared I fought against it until I could sit up again. Then I would get up and turn the light on. There are some Christmas lights in the room that haven't been taken down so on both occasions this has happened I've turned on the Christmas lights, turned off the over head light and then just got back into bed and went back to sleep.

I heard that first story on Jeffrey Nadolny’s channel a couple of days ago. Feral humans have been seen in some parts of America and he wondered if that was one peering into through car window. It certainly sounds feasible. It’s like a real life version of ‘Wrong Turn.’ 😱 I think the man is a bit hard on himself. A lot of people would freeze in that situation. Thank goodness they made it out of there alive. No one wants to get eaten....🙏

The first story... you went and slept in your car, you didn’t camp at all. The “person” out there was probably just annoyed that you would go all the way out there just to be on Facebook. And it’s so heartbreaking it took a few months to get over (insert eye roll)

This vid's a year old but I gotta pitch in my story... The creepiest thing that ever happened while I was sleeping happened a little over ten years ago... It was the last sleep paralysis incident I experienced. I remember being extremely terrified and screaming for help but no one heard me. When I finally snapped out of it, I told my parents, but of course they wrote it off...

Creepy thing that I experienced well trying too sleep. I had a hard time trying too sleep. Every time I managed too sleep I kept having a nightmare that a short blad man was looking at me he kept coming closer and closer too me. Every time he got on too my bed my legs would kick and wake me up. This kept happening all night. At round 4 am I was so tired I passed out as soon as i fell asleep Something grab me and picked me up and slammed me to my bed. At this point I was so scared my flight or fight response kicked in. I threw a punch. I swear I hit something. I seen that same short blad man run out of my room straight in too the basement wall. Please excuse my grammar and spelling.

Creepiest thing to ever happen to me, I was laying in bed in the middle of the night, in a house by myself, when I heard a voice whisper goodnight into my ear, I absolutely freaked out, turned the light on, looked under the bed, checked the house, everything was still locked up !

Does anyone else find it odd that almost every story that is supposedly true and sent in by a person seems to be written like you would hear from a professional writer? Most people dont write this well yet almost every account seems like something an author would write....

What you talking about? We have creepy stuff here lol. We have strange howls that no one can identify in fentress county and a bigfoot who asks for garlic in Sevierville 🤣 we also have the tweakers who creep in the night and also the pot holes in the roads that come from nowhere. But the first one i mentioned is true. I was with my dad and we stayed the night where his old families house use to be. Deep in some woods. Once night hit, everything went silent and it was strange. My dad grew up in those woods and hills and i never seen this man become unnerved until this night. We could hear something moving and then it would stop. Move again and stop again. Then we heard this unusual howl. It was honestly hair raising to hear it. My dad could tell you what creature was in there but he could not identify this one. He never heard of it until now. So that night instead of sleeping right there, he sent us back into the truck and locked the doors. He stayed up all night in the bed, with a gun just watching the night. He asked my uncle about it, and my uncle said he didn't know what it was. Just knew whatever it was, he didn't want to face it. He said, if everything- even the coyotes, lions, bob cat, and pigs were quiet. Something was nearby and deadly. They both built a treehouse kind of place there. And they stayed the night along with my brother and cousin. They were inside it when something climbed and jumped on the tree house. (The tree house had a deck of sorts. To stand on and look out. Like a fire watch tower) they watched that door and didn't go out until they heard birds chirping and some light came from under the door. My dad never went back. My uncle would but only during the day. We are not sure what that even was. We didn't tell anyone because we figured if someone went looking for it they might find it but might not come back out of those woods.
