40 yrs I had something that actually poked into my eye ball and it gave me the worst headache ever. I was fortunate to get immediately in to the eye doctor. Sorry to hear it's taken awhile. Hope you feel much better tomorrow.

Was it monkey poop that was thrown into your eye at the zoo? Were there parasites? Did they start eating into your brain? Did you go to the emergency room?

If you soak a washcloth in warm water and gently press it to your eye, that might help un-glue it. I remember my mom doing that with me when I got pink eye as a kid. Good luck man, that sounds scary 😢
