It's way too difficult to apply to jobs nowadays, and then people wonder why so many waited to go back to work. Look what one has to go through to get a job where someone else determines their worth! Which in most cases is undervalued. If a recruiter is only going to spend 6 seconds, what's the point in putting in the anxiety-riddled, daunting task of writing a resume AND cover letter when they really don't want to read it? Plus, it's all subjective. It'd be easier to just start your own business.

Yeah... You've created this hell for us. This problem only exists thanks to the invention of ATS. Keyword stuffing is the only way to land a job anymore.
