Hi Yes, did me for over $300, I paid via PayPal balance, so I ordered Dec , then that means buyer protection gone after 6 months, i messaged to say my items must be all in , he said just waiting on the minigt kenmeri, I said don't need that just post the rest, week later I went to ask if posted, no site ,

The thing is, he'll probably transfer his stock to another business and do it all over again.

Great video man, I bought twice from Sky High and they answered to my emails and sent my 2 orders without problems. But the 3rd order, they stopped replying and of course they never sent it, my assumption is that they fell behind with the pre-orders, they started using the money for buying other stuff and when the time came to pay for them to the suppliers, they simply didn't have the cash, so, they were not able to get the pieces, the customers started complaining, no money for refunds and well, the snowball effect. Highlighting your comment, the communication is key, I guess things like this could be more manageable at the beginning if you talk with your customers. Keep the amazing work mate!!

Absolutely! With this hobby as a reseller, once you start YOU CANNOT STOP. Get the resources to help, get the time to do the work.

Here in Philippines, we have the most infamous scammer as we call it "Sticky Note Guy". Posting for sale, then once the victim pay it, then show a picture with photoshopped Sticky note with the name and etc. end then yeah... that's the story and we still keep watching him such as new name, new profile.

@@modelcarshouston yup. he already claims like 50 victims this year, some of which costing PH₱3,000 - PH₱5,000 on Hot Wheels Diecast Car Collector of the Philippines and other Facebook Marketplace. Rumors that, That guy also shows up in Hot Wheels Philippine Convention anonymously without getting notice. he changed his fake FB account like 200 times already and still nobody knows what his real FB account was. He scam victim who's looking for cheap like Hot Wheels, Gundam, Inno 64 or even Fuelme 1:64 falling to the cheapest car model for sale. we still hoping to find his real account and real address to report to authority immediately.

We have some complaints filed with the OH Attorney General's office. Situations where you're outside your bank's chargeback window. I have a case # and agent assigned. No action yet but if enough people file it might get more traction. Just a thought.

I have 5 separate orders from this company. All were pre orders. I have emailed him multiple times and got one response back, asking for my order numbers. Which I provided. Then nothing. Nada. Ghosted. And he turned off the comments on the last 4 or 5 posts. Including the "apology". Shopify recommended this company, so I don't know if I should contact them or my bank.

Can confirm. I've pre-ordered the 1/18 Inno F40 LBWK from them and I've yet to hear anything back or get a tracking number. A VERY costly mistake. Now I'll have to pay more to secure one elsewhere... I'm not based in the US, but is there anything I can do to report them and hope we get refunded?
