Don't Fear - 10 Minute Trackmania Fullspeed Map (TAS | Official Showcase Video)

Fearing has finally arrived.
It's not really a tas it's just a segmented run I drove with cuts hidden in some of the camera changes, but tas is shorter and more clickbait and a lot of tases are just slowmo + save states anyway. Edit: I just drove a normal run it's 9:52.766.

FAQ:
- No it is not a remake, the name is just the one DontCare settled on when he first started building, and is an homage to Deep Fear due to the 10 checkpoint thing. This is an original track.
- The map is pretty difficult, definitely harder than Ghost, but it's not super insane or anything.
- Yes you need to sd, no you do not need good sds.
- None of us know how many hours were collectively spent building the map, just make up a big number in your head or something idk.

Deep fear was built by only 1 person though, makes it super impressive

@@dani02_mmd sunset overdrive is infinitely more impressive than deep fear & was also made by one person (go watch it if you haven't). Deep fear didn't have a ton of scenery & the route imo was not particularly interesting compared to maps built since then. sunset overdrive was longer, had way more unique & interesting elements, and had much bigger scenery (which is the main reason the author list on this map is so long, lots of scenery mappers. I dont actually care about scenery much on these maps its just relevant to the number of authors specifically.). In the end though all three of these maps are kinda scuffed in their own way, I'll hopefully finish an actually good one at some point.

Only when one starts to do tFS mapping (like myself (in NF)) they will understand what effort it takes to get even one cool transition, let alone... how many that even is. You can set any resolution you want when you render in game (click the avi button), I use 3440x1440, but for some reason youtube says it's 4k. 4k is a stupid name already but that just doesn't make sense, at least i means i get to put 4k in the title though xd

@@didydrogene3454 Black isn't default, by default the sausage blocks are red, but this one is colored red so it's even more red or something idk. As far as I can remember the only difference is the light strip lining the road is red & thats how you can tell but there may be more differences. So yes they are two different colors, but neither is default :P
