What if you took the 45 single of Don't Fear The Reaper and slowed it down to 33 1/3rd RPM? It would sound something like this.

As a young guitarist... I would always seek out 45 rpm singles of songs to learn. Prior to digital recordings in the 70s if you played a 45 at 33.3 it slowed downed solos making it easier to copy the licks. Seems like I had to lower the tuning of my guitar 1 1/2 steps to match the tuning.....kids now have it made😂😂😂

Doing a double dip. Reaper is song that was worked on sonically to amplify the individual instruments plus the song is very dreamy and deliberate so it almost leads you to a slower version. It rich in sound already very Byrdsy...some songs aren't that well constructed like this one.

Is this Blue Oyster Cult slowed down to 33 of a Type O negative cover? Lmao! It's dope for sure, but it sounds like Peter Steele on vocals. Prove me wrong!

With this music playing imagine the scene: You're in a your room, badly lit only from the moonlight in the open window with the white curtains flapping due to the wind. You're cornered close to that window, with your eyes wide open, mouth also open in a horror expression, you're using a greeen pijama, once very confortable, now soaked with your sweating. In fact your uncovered skin shines, like it was hot day lf summer, but this is a cold sweat in a windy night. The image was far away, like it was coming from the door in your room, but it moves closer, slowlly, then you can see more details of your legs, and a small glass of water in the small table right in your left side, half empty. Your room has a beige carpet, but you can hardly see a shadow coming from behind the camera. At first it seems static, but looking closelly, it moves very slowlly, but with a steady movement. Its just now that it can be seen that the footage is in slow motion, the camera slowlly moves towards your face, that also following the camera movement starts to become more and more desperate, and the image starts to go more amd more dark as we see the face closet and closer. Okay that music got great for a horror movie!
