"I don't like it, they made it weird" I mean Todo's into Idol culture, do we really expect someone affiliated with idol culture to not be weird? lol. like, that's the point of it, it's meant to be weird; idol culture is strange and when Todo's like "oh, I need to go to the handshake event!", Maki, Mai and Nobara are all like "bruh". like, that's the joke lol. I don't mean that in a mean way or anything, I just don't really get that as a response, just a thought.

Yeah like this is not even something uncommon in the real world, many men are like todo, she forgot why instagram is so full Of women being sexualized, I feel todo is the most real person in the show and that’s why he is the favorite of many men but a woman wouldn’t understand that.

Nanami Kento is my favorite character. he is not a corporate jujutsu sorcerer, he quit being a sorcerer to work a normal job until he realized that both jobs were shit, so he quit being a salary-man (generic business man) and went back to being a sorcerer

7:10 I totally agree! it's a theme in alot of battle manga I feel, that "these guys are kinda psychos.". even back with like, Dragon Ball, Bulma is like "you guys are just as bad as the bad guys, you know. but I guess I'm stuck with you.." back in the early Android Arc. I feel as though battle manga tend to be less about "good vs bad", but with more of a theme of circumstance vs circumstance; Chainsaw Man is a great example. Denji, Power and Aki aren't chasing some kind of higher aspiration their goals are entirely selfish, and the same can be said about Maki, who is a Sorcerer out of spite, uninterested in say, saving people, or Megumi, who doesn't care about an absolute justice, but rather, wants to save the people who he thinks deserves it; then you've got say, Todo, who is a Sorcerer seemingly for the thrill.

It's like the Principal and Gojo mentioned in the first few episodes, you have to be a little crazy in order to thrive as a sorcerer. And Todo is thriving.

Sure, Mai was being an asshole just for the hell of it but I don't think it necessarily applies to Todo. He wanted to see if the first years students had what it takes to live up to someone like Okkotsu (One of the other second years that's highly regarded) so naturally at a school where you learn to fight curses he decided to fight Megumi. It seems kinda bizarre from an audience's perspective but from looking in at jujutsu society and how it functions I think it makes more sense.

It’s fine if you didn’t like the introductions, but to me it didn’t read like: "oh here’s the assholes" at all. And yes they best up 15 year olds but they themselves are also only 17/18, and crazy, which makes it marginally better but not by much, lol.

So about the big ass thing, in Asia the curvy or thicc body type is NOT the norm, even in taste. The body standard in Asia (for women) is...let's say different, and they seek to be really thin and petite, and usually Asian girls have that body type, so yeah, Todo's type being tall and with big ass, is actually pretty rare. And yes, Idol culture is kinda freaky, that's why many students don't like Todo

All the childish goofiness and playful carefree nature of these kids in notable. The humor can be odd and awkward at times but I feel like once you get further into the series youll see it was actually a good addition to the show. Take a snapshot memory of the current situation of these characters, how they act, how they speak, what theyve accomplished and what theyve endured so far. Remember it all for later.
