i have never been able to succesffully keep my betta frys alive until they are big. Ive tried 5 or 6 times now, i get my bettas to breed but i can never keep the betta frys alive until adulthood. I hope i can take your advice and tips to my next batch of frys. Thank you for making this video!

I have had experiences like you, hatching eggs without a male, You have to lower the water (3cm), and close the breeding place. If you are lucky, they will hatch and can swim after 4-5 days... Thank you

First of all congrats for the nice video. Could you please explain how microworms act to supress the pelvic fins of Bettas? Does it happen in both genders? This is my personal observation on my betta farm. There are not many articles written about the effect of microworm on ventral fins, but some betta fish breeders also have the same experience. I’d associated this fact to genetic for sure but.... after watching this video, I’ve started to survey the experience on this subject of others Betta lovers. One of them made the same association between microworms and the lack of the pelvic fins many years ago. Another one made the association between the lack of the pelvic fins and the gene marble. In my situation, the fish have the gene marble and had microworms (vinegar and oats) as food, mainly in their first month of life. An aditional information about my situation is that all the no pelvic fins fish are female. I’m very curious about this association between the use of microworms as food and the lacking of the pelvic fins in Bettas. I greatly appreciate to hear about the experience of others. How many high quality males/females do you get on average per nest? And what do you do with low quality fish? This is a concern i have when breeding fish myself.

60-70 % is good quality like father and mother.. and for low quality fish, I usually give it to the flower horn fish. Thank you Omar

My male betta is slightly smaller than female betta...shall I can breed them? and also my female is aggressive too.. 2nd doubt is, I want to grow my male betta fast ... what do I feed?...and I have my betta fish in huge tank... eagerly waiting for your reply 😊

Yes you can breed them, although the male betta are slightly smaller than the female betta, but with a few notes.. your male betta must be bolder and stronger than the female betta.
