Once my kart just stopped during rental karting and they didn’t stop the race until two laps later when they finally fixed my kart. This made me two laps behind and lose out of two laps I paid for. Complete bullshit

Personally I'd say Gloves. Helmets don't really matter unless you want to be flashy and as long as you have flat shoes you should be fine but the gloves they give you (mainly in indoor karting) are awful and don't provide much grip on the wheel.

Most places will supply helmet, you dont need boots, gloves maybe. Only need that if you are professionaly driving.

gloves, helmets are always provided unless youre at a professional track and racing boots arent extremely important or anything like that. in sims i gain alot of time just by using gloves, not sure about real life tho

My first time karting the wheel was so stiff it barely turned and they were setting my speed so i crashed and destroyed my legs 😅 lets say it was bloody. I still ❤ karting and would love to go again at another place with better karts

The karts that I race are electric and they way they were made is when you press the gas and the brake your karts shuts off and this happen to me once from the lead and I fell back to 10th but it was early in the race and I was the fastest one out there and I came back to win
