Re: the card facing the wrong way. One year my mom gave me a strange (but beautiful) birthday card that was actually for Chinese New Year. The reason she bought it was because she accidentally knocked it into a bucket full of flowers and felt obligated. It made me laugh and right before Mother’s Day I made a card that was accidentally facing the wrong way. I sent it mom saying it was version of the card in the bucket of flowers. She thought it was hilarious and kept it for years. She has been dead for 10 years this year and it is a treasured memory. So thanks for reminding me!

I will be using a die but both cards are amazing. All I can say is WOW!! Such a simple technique with such beautiful results. I would be thrilled to get one in the mail I think they are so lovely. They could be 'dressed' up so easily. Ideas are just popping in my mind. I've added this to my list of must do, on which I'm working on a black cardstock card. It's been interesting in the different quality of the metalic watercolors.
