Bought the ULTRA VIOLET yesterday from Boots. I normally wear Dior Sauvage, but when I smelt this it brought back the WOW factor and I just had to buy it. It may hardly be worn by anyone these days, but that's what makes it very unique and you will stand out from the crowd because of that.

I wear the original purple bottle with the rubber trigger. Have two 50 ml bottles and it’s magical. I must add, the early bottles of Ultraviolet Man (2000-2005ish) made in Paris had a purple bottle with a plastic gray rubber trigger and following it changed to a clear glass with the rubber trigger, eventually got reformulated and the bottle changed to hard plastic purple trigger and were produced in Barcelona Spain. The ones with the soft rubber stapler (purple glass or clear) are different, stronger, more long lasting (10 hours) and project well and has this more natural smell than today’s, it had Irish mint, lavender, lemon, synthetic ambergris, crystal oak moss, vetiver, patchouli, vanilla, and white musk. It’s one of my most compliments from women I’ve gotten throughout my life. If your skin is fair to very fair, this fragrance will definitely shine on you with women. It was created by French master nose Jacques Cavalier no less. If you happen to see a bottle of the early 2000s buy it!

It may be the not of Styrax. It is a resinous floral note used in Monarch. 😉

The original 1994 is super hard to find but worth it . The 2018 release is good, and they claim the formula has been unchanged. Lol Trust me, it's different. The 2018 is still available for purchase. 😉
