Amen. The things of God take a spiritual understanding and a humble heart. Luke 17:1 It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come. (This means that the offender is doing the work of the evil one and will be punished for stealing the word). SO much of the Christian life is practicing our response to offense to align with God's will. The forgiveness of the Lord on the cross was supernatural.

Wow! I remember how Jesus when the Roman guards struck him did not get offended but said, "Why do you strike me when I've done nothing wrong"! And again, he would not take offense even at the crucifixion but said, "Father forgive them". Strong teaching here. Lord teach me to not take offense and lose my joy!
