I thought your message was going to be different. I thought you were going to focus attention on listening and getting the information/your understanding correct and not worrying about how detailed your drawings may be. Kinda like focusing on the font and not on the story you are writing.

I do get what you mean BUT With all do respect it’s not exactly good for other lines of work, your style is good for what you do, not necessarily for someone going for a specific style or medium and art form, most people will NEED to be good at drawing to get in to many different careers and mediums, such as animation, manga and Comics. For a simple project to get an idea across to a listener visually then yes simple drawings on a white background are enough to explain things better but that’s practically all they are good for if it’s not a stylistic choice for their projects in other mediums and lines of work.
