Doesn't look like those drain and fill plugs on that transfer case have ever been out! The transfer case on my Jeep was like that and they rounded out when I tried to remove them. I had to weld an allen key into them and then got them out and replaced them both with new plugs.

I have a 2000 Ford F250 4x4 Superduty, with 110,900 miles on it. My headlights flicker on & off with no rhyme or reason, for the past year or two. They come back on with the same brightness, no dimming. Sometimes while driving, sometimes while sitting still idling!? I wiggled the wire connections & nothing happens to the lights, they stay on, without dimming or flickering. I had the battery, alternator & electrical system checked, & ground wires checked out ok. Got any reasons/solutions for this problem. Should I replace both headlights? They're both about 3 yrs old. I'm baffled, I don't know how to diagnose it any further, or where to get help? Please respond! Thx Ps. Also, Do you know why Ford put a light front axle rating of 4000 lbs on this "superduty"? It has 4:10 gears which I was told is great for pulling & pushing? But can't put a plow on it!?? The plow companies tell me it's not possible b/c of the low rating. The weight of the plow will bend the front end of the truck? Any thoughts?
