I don't have a question but a suggestion for you to ask/tell Goodwill....... I think they should have one person per shift to go thru each section of the store with a rolling cart & pull all the items that are not priced then roll that cart to the back to be priced......(each section should have a cart)....Then when "the wizard behind the curtain" finishes re-pricing these items....that cart can be wheeled back to that certain section to be put back out. I feel that would be a perfect way to do it.... Because I feel the longer that item sits on the shelf not priced has a better chance of getting broken THEN no one makes any money off it... Goodwill in the long run loses money on non-priced items. Thank you Danni!

I have taken stuff to the counter, not for them to price for me, but so they know that something isn’t priced. I have also told an employee as they walked by about something that isn’t priced.

How about if it doesn’t have a price, don’t put on shelf? It would be very time consuming to go thru everything looking for prices. Nip it in the bud!

I am a thrifter in New Jersey. They just got rid of the colors of the week… and the prices are outrageous .. I would like to know why rules are different state to state 🤷‍♀️ our senior day is 15%. Yours is so much better ! Thks. Love your videos !!

We haven’t had discount colors for a couple of years and our senior discount is only 6% here in SD. The discount is just a little less than our sales tax rate. Better than nothing I guess.

You’ve probably asked GW before but why do they purposely put the price tags over the manufacturer’s markings on the item. They would have less peeled price stickers if they didn’t do that.

I wanna know the same question why they put the price over the makers mark when they know we’re gonna rip them off and then they’re gonna complain that we ripped off the price tag. So can’t someone in every goodwill be trained to teach the employees where to place a price tag in a general area without covering 22 karat gold or sticking tape around it rather than use Reynolds wrap. So many questions and thank you for this episode. I really enjoy your content. Keep up the good work.

I would really like to know Why Goodwill prices pieces that you know are supposed to be together, why do they separate them and price them separately. It doesn’t make sense to me and it’s not right for then to do that. They get all of their items from donations so why do they feel the need to separate items and price them separately. All Goodwill items are donated, leftovers from yard and garage sales. So WHY does Goodwill overcharge for their items? It's SUPPOSED to help the poor and working class people!

Danni. When I worked in customer service we were trained to never say the word “cheap”. We’d say “least expensive”. Like “the least expensive option would be…” And til this day I still use it 😊

QUESTION... have been angry about this for a couple of years. Why is it OK for GW employee to bring carts directly out of the back to a reseller sitting at the door. She gets in the cart before other customers do. She's there everyday but thursday.. Complaints ignored.

Question for goodwill, maybe it’s irrelevant because it’s a different area of the country from you but why did Indiana goodwills stop doing half off on color tags. 😢 They never have a discount anymore except one Saturday a month. Salvation Army still does the color tags so I never bother going to or donating to goodwill because of it.

Fun video! My question for Goodwill is "Why do you play the music so loud?" In my local Goodwill, most of the time the music is softly playing in the background (enhancing my shopping experience). But when I find a store that plays music so loud that I find myself getting irritated, I will abandon my cart and immediately leave the store because nothing is so worth losing my harmony over, even groceries. There are plenty of stores to shop in.

For GW: why do you bag breakables/delicate items in bags, especially with heavy items… sure to cause damage. Why do you bag totally unrelated things together, such as golf tees with a crystal votive holder.

Spoil yourself by having a special meal out with family, or with a special friend or your mum (or do multiple meals with all the special people in your life ... some people have birthday weeks, you can have a 'season' of 100k celebratory meals !) They don't have to be big or very expensive, just an excuse to do something that you will enjoy, with people who understand how special it is for you and so you remember the milestone as connected to special fun experiences. You are a dynamo and so many people benefit from your energy and your continual drive to do well for all those you connect with; you touch the lives profoundly of strangers in shops, people wanting to start their lives over and become resellers, friends and family who feel the warmth from your beautiful smily face or a person who watches your videos and sees options and motivation to just get out there and do something! Be proud. You made the you that you are now and the world is made better because of your integrity and hard work. My question for goodwill: If there are unpriced items - can there be a central "collection" spot in the store that people can place these, so the staff can address them for the next day, or next afternoon (not the counter where it can be busy and potentially confrontational for staff/shoppers ... but maybe a back shelf/ or near the donation/ sorting area??) .

You said Goodwill wanted questions, so here goes. I Know all goodwill locations operate independently. The goodwill here in Sarasota has suddenly been stocked with thousands of new products, the type of products one would find in a dollar store. Why???. Half the store is this junk. I do not shop goodwill for new products, and soon won’t shop there at all. Have others who noticed this change?

question for Goodwill: Does every goodwill store go through items to save for the goodwill resale store before putting items for sale? Do employees/volunteers still get first chance to purchase items donated before they are out on the floor? Does every state have bin sales?

I would like to know why the goodwill employees remove items from the shelves that are the color of the week. I saw an employee doing this and he told me that it’s their policy. I spoke to the manager and she also said it was their policy because they have so much inventory and they remove the color of the week to make room for new items. This makes no sense to me because it’s the color of the week their removing so I couldn’t purchase the items. I stopped going for a bit because I was a bit upset about this

Instead of sending items that don’t sell to the landfill why don’t you have a section set aside and charge a dollar or two before you trash them. You prices are outrageously high. I’m on social security and I love thrifting but the prices are so high I have to pass on the majority of items I would have purchased if prices had been a bit lower.

I would like to know why Goodwill insists on raising prices for budget reasons. I think you would do much better at helping people in a broader scale employees, customers and resellers by selling at volume which means lower your prices so we buy more. Then you can in turn use that money for all of your programs

My question for goodwill, the Indiana stores. Why did they do away with 50% off once a month? And they did away with all discounts. No, senior days, nothing. We don't get any kind of discount when it's all donated.? Also, peanut was adorable.We had a childhood poodle named peanut.He was such a good dog❤

I'm asking that everyone that reads this please pick up a new or gently used stuffy, or stuffed animal and donate it to your local police dept. They keep them in their trunk and when they are called to a domestic or they need to remove a child, they give those out to help calm the children. Thankyou so much.

A question I have for Goodwill excecs, the no price no sell rule. Why are so many items getting through without a price tag which means more go to the bins, less profit for Goodwill, unhappy customers. Can they at least come up with a way to resolve this, like maybe customer service desk where customers can go to, to get a price. A checking system whereby thry do not leave the store room without a price tag. Just 2 ideas off top of my head. There must be a better way than the system they have now.

It's a self-watering pot. It would of had another pot that sat in the pot with a wick. The window is so you can see how much water is left in the reservoir. 7:46
