I loved Laurel and I can't believe they killed her. I don't care what anyone says, the Olicity wankers can shove it in my face all they want, but Laurel Lance is and always will be the love of Oliver Queen's life, she'll always be the light of his soul and her memory is what keeps him going. She was a pure soul , always trying to help those who were helpless to help themselves, whose life was tragically ended far too soon. At least she is with Tommy now and Oliver will see her again one day. I think it'd be sweet if Oliver helped Earth-2 Laurel reform, inspiring her to be a better person as Laurel once did for him, and if they found love. They both loved each other's doppelgangers until they were tragically ripped from them and while they will always be the loves of their lives, Oliver-1 and Laurel-2 could help each other fill the void left by their lovers deaths as two people broken by grief and tainted by darkness in different ways made each other whole again. Earth-2 Laurel reforming would also prove just how pure a soul Earth-1 Laurel really was if even on another Earth where she suffered nothing but heartache and fell into darkness, found her way back to the light.

thank you! i read a quote (i don't remember where/from what) but it said that once creators listen to the fans, they start to sit with them. marc guggenheim listened to a portion of the fandom and here we are :|. i just think he didn't need to be such an asshole. calling the laurel lance fandom a 'vocal minority'. it's rude. just call us her fans. I was hoping that you would make a Laurel tribute and this is just perfect. Great song choice to show all of those wonderful moments with her family/friends and how her death impacted them. The scenes with Quentin and Diggle were very emotional. I've kept up with Arrow (lots of fast forward haha) mostly for the LoT and Flash crossover possibilities, but now they don't even match up...Barry has his powers on Arrow but not on The Flash and it would have been nice to see Sara attend the funeral, even if from a distance. Me too, I have high hopes for E2 Laurel.

+WonderTwinC i'm never really that critical of death scenes since they happen all of the time in my shows but MG is a fucking twat. laurel dies from one arrow (THE GREEN ARROW'S ARROW NO LESS) after several other characters get shot or stabbed and tossed off cliffs. even better since she was "fine". and she dies not in the line of duty or in battle really, she dies because of her dad betraying the big bad. and to even mention felicity on her death bed was like gonna have to be a no for me. and then someone magically using laurel's sonic device and being black canary the very next episode??!?!?! it's like insult after injury. especially since that prick MG called laurel fans a 'vocal minority'. wow. like, should've just stuck with 'i know we'll upset a portion of the fandom' or something. no need to minimize fans for liking a fucking main character on a show. i keep ranting in the comments. i need to stop, lol.

+purpledarklighter even worse is what you said. it's almost like they intentionally erased all probability of her returning. honestly, i think earth-2 laurel will be who they replace her with but it just shows how shitty their writing is. they couldn't fix their character so they killed her off to essentially retcon the character. even though it won't /really/ be the same laurel, it'll be the dinah lance they should've started with. in my dream world, earth 2 laurel was who oliver asked to join him on the boat. oliver killed himself (hence why robert queen was the green arrow on that earth) to save laurel & robert. laurel gets the 'sara' arc that should've been hers to begin with because she's the real bc. but when sara "died", quentin went to shit. only laurel could save him. tbh, pre-island sara sounded reckless. i doubt she could've saved quentin from his grief. so on earth-2, laurel came back from the island with her dad dead (because of her death, basically), and sara or thea od'd. oliver's already dead. which is why laurel was living in star city - her mom was there. which is why she was there when the particle accelerator went off. hence her being a metahuman. also why she's evil - she has nothing and no one. ALSO, PERFECT REASON FOR HER TO LEAVE EARTH-2 BEHIND AND COME TO EARTH 1. and then we could watch her struggle with oliver not being her oliver and her dad being alive, etc. give it to me, arrow writers. you've failed me so often...

God this hurts so badly each time I watch it. I can’t help but think how good the show would’ve been if she wouldn’t have died. She died too soon and was the start of the series downfall. She was so pure and helpful and my favorite character in the series. She was the love of Oliver’s life even if he wouldn’t accept or admit it. They were both meant for each other only Oliver screwed it up. Atleast now she was up high with Tommy and wasn’t going through pain anymore. Maybe if she died later in the series it wouldn’t have had much of the impact that had when she died now. Laurel will forever be Oliver’s. End of story. She died too soon soon. 😢❤❤❤

I've been waiting for this, I knew you would eventually come out and make a Laurel video. I dropped Arrow last season around episode 15, but I did watch a few episodes this season 16 and 17 being two of them, but I've only watched parts of 18 and 19, I refuse to watch those episodes completely and be part of Guggenheim brilliant idea to kill one of their most iconic characters for shock value, because lets face it, who thought they would actually go ahead and kill the BC? As usual the video was beautiful... Tha part with Quentin realizing she no longer IS his rock, she WAS his rock, breaks me every time. And the way you synced the music with the scenes was flawless. If this was only "temporay" tribute, I can't wait to see what that ultimate tribute will be.

+purpledarklighter the fact that the timelines are out of sync again annoys me because this happened last season. it doubly annoys me now because barry has his powers in arrow and the flash he's currently disintegrated so :|. and i wish i didn't know laurel was going to be in the flash because now it's making the flash episodes a little harder to get through. like two episodes of barry coping to no powers and i'm like BUT WE KNOW HE'LL GET THEM BACK AND THEN DINAH LANCE WILL COME AND BE EVIL AND I NEED THAT MORE THAN THIS FILLER EPISODE. lol. but, on the plus side, iris is finally coming back to seeing the light and westallen is so close to becoming a reality. i couldn't get into LoT but the flash and supergirl are at least balanced in their screen time and when they give side characters episodes, it's to develop the characters who are being focused on. whereas arrow rarely allots good screen time to a majority of the characters and it often serves no purpose (because we all needed to see felicity get shot only to be able to walk like 2 episodes later. that was great for character development. jk it served no purpose other than to waste screen time). ugh I AM SO BITTER.

+ChemicalAttraction I remember it last season but it was only at some point when the schedule was messed up, this time they did mess up the episodes with the breaks that weren't at the same time but it was the same episode numbers last week and before that, so it doesn't make sense, and most of the season doesn't seem to sync. LOL I get you about the Flash, even though I still find it interesting to watch. I hope they wouldn't make a 4th show cause then The Flash might turn bad. LOT is pretty mediocre, sometimes enjoyable but kinda frustrating... not sure if I should tell you since you aren't watching it. I'm not sure about WestAllen, I really wanted them to be together at first but then Iris got really annoying, now she's cool but I don't want it to be like Olicity, I actually really liked Felicity on s1+2 but I never shipped Olicity, regardless of Laurel, I just think they don't fit at all, it was forced, then done badly and they made Felicity kinda annoying, although Oliver annoys me much more, I think he shouldn't be in a serious relationship and this show is too much of a soap now anyway :/ My fav LOT episode shows the future of Arrow [well a possible future], but there has been a few good ones, and I like the time travel think. The Flash & Supergirl are better though. I disliked Supergirl on the first 5-6 episode, it was very cheesy-chick flick but it got better with great comics characters and the main plot, it's still cheesy but good. I agree about the side characters episode. Yeah the Felicity thing was stupid, I knew they wouldn't kill her off so early in the season, I actually don't think she should be killed off but she needs to keep away from Oliver and go back to just being the brains of the team with the witty comments, and cry less! but yeah the whole plot was redundant though I liked the irony when she dumped Oliver and then got off her chair and walked out lol. Laurel was the only the character who really evolved [maybe except for Thea but just a little], she was going through so much shit on the show but eventually became a superhero, but then they kinda pushed her to the background the entire season till her last 2 episodes, it was so cruel! BTW on LOT Sarah still doesn't know Laurel is dead, and she wasn't at the funeral on Arrow, WTF is up with that???

+kp98 thanks ;). and yes. i watched up to the 6th or 7th season. i actually watched the pilot when it aired so i liked spn from the start. but, i fell behind and don't remember being super invested in it at that point so i quit watching. i've seen episodes here and there but i really would need to rewatch the whole show. which, if i can do 10 seasons of grey's anatomy, i can probably do it for supernatural, lol. & now that i'm thinking about spn, i'm watching videos from the old spn collab group i ran and my ruby videos on my backup. and the dates on these things are 3 years old so it has been a while, haha.
